Baidu simulator?

An issue slipped through that I didn't notice. There are seven "new" traits after unlocking the three ad traits. They've been there all along, but I forgot to set up the proper prerequisite paths. Enjoy!

I'm having the same issue as Belades. Otherwise, cool scenario, thanks!

same thing noticed.
also, it is kinda weird that to achieve enslave ending you have to evolve the lethal transmission. i am about the last transmission, which opens weay to human implants.

I like it good job on this one.
Belades 17 Nov, 2014 @ 10:03pm
Neat scenario! But, I was wondering. Is it possible to upgrade the three ad types any further? I can't seem to unlock any further upgrades to them, but the adjacent areas are highlighted as if there's more available.

Ianmore, I updated the scenario today so that Advanced Implants, the next implant ability after Intermediate Implants (the ape one), requires Smart Devices, the highest level transmission trait.
lanmore 22 Sep, 2014 @ 10:47pm
I can't seem to be able to unlock the abilities after ape implants. Do I need some traits in other categories?

Thanks for the input Handcatch! I'll see what I can do about the transmissions, symptoms and implant abilities. As for the populations, I left it as the default numbers because the goal is to kill, or as you suggest, convert, all humans. Expect an update soon! :Khappy:

It's also a bit too easy to become very lethal very quickly with only a few points in your symptoms (mutation takes care of the rest) or the Implant abilities (aside from the Killswitch finisher these are also a bit cheap). Perhaps add slight amounts of severity to the second-tier Transmissions... set up additional symptoms, and in such a way that you're not immediately funneled into causing a robotic uprising or nuclear meltdowns. A few more tiers of the various symptoms could be nice, too, to give you the chance to try to lay low and insinuate instead of pumping Infectivity and Transmission and outracing the cure (anti-virus software, that is). A neurax worm-esque conversion victory through the use of implants could also be interesting.

This seems like a very interesting mod, but one thing I noticed when I booted up the scenario was that you seemed to be using the default population numbers, i.e. people, as opposed to computers and other digital devices. Is it be possible to change these values to something resembling real-life numbers? Or even just improving numbers in rich countries and lowering them in poor ones by a reasonable estimate, for that matter.

When I get the game(when, not if),this is one of the 1st things I'm going to use.
Space Coward 19 Sep, 2014 @ 5:48pm
That sounds amazing. Honestly, this workshop support might be enough to get me to buy this game, even if it is 15x the price of the Kindle Fire edition I already have.

Your computer virus can kill in many ways, like flooding research facilities with deadly neurotoxin, taking control of all of the world's robots, allowing the world's nuclear reactors to meltdown or, if they've been developed, killing humans directly by using neural implants.
Catmality 19 Sep, 2014 @ 5:31pm
It kills humans with annoyance possibly.
Space Coward 19 Sep, 2014 @ 3:38pm
How does it kill humans? Is it like 2001: Space Odyssey style, or what?
