Know of any mods that remove the action cost of abilities or grenades? I only ask because the Krieg Engineers are decked out in abilities, but the game's action economy really forces me to pick and choose.

Pretty sure it was the muzzle crash issue, that can be easily fixed by putting my mod + my Gladius+ addon above the other.
I had it and it was causing a crash anytime I loaded a map, but seems to work now. I think I was missing a DLC that it required or had it in the wrong load order.

There is a full roster for the Death Korps of Krieg, check the addon for even more Krieg units. I also made Catachan and Kasrkin. But no Steel Legion.
Any hope of custom models for the Death Korp? I love literally every other regiment more than Cadian, so it would be awesome to get Korp troopers, catachans, or steel legion models.

Hello! Sorry to bother, but do you still have the name of the soundtrack that plays when Colonel Vargrif's skill "Into the fray!" is used? I'd love to check out the full version of this piece, it sounds great!
Also, great mod overall, every hero is very interesting to use, so congratulations on making this mod.

@Karl oh man the best thing about this mod is how gigantic it is. that's what we're here for!
but you can also just copy the mod files, peak inside, remove the bits ya don't like. not hard to swap skills for example with an existing mod to go from

Not for now, same for people who ask a single mod with all the HOL stuff inside.

You know, even if you don't want to use some units, don't research/build them and focus only on what you want. This will grant you more diverse enemy army.

Alright thanks for the quick information. Just so I know, do you have any plan to split the addon/make a lighter version? Personnally I don't want to flood my game with many units I know I won't use, and in my opinion you would greatly benefit from splitting between The Guard's subfactions (like regrouping the Krieg folks if I take them as example).

The Hero spawned them randomly, yeah. It was due to the total rework of the Krieg Folks.

You can recruit base squad an specialise them with the addon. The description may not be up to date. Sorry for this. I'll update it ASAP. If you look for more units and good intel, check the addon.

While the mod is great and you've done a really nice job, theres something I don't understand, what happened to Krieg units? I remember clearly that before, a basic squad would spawn, and then could be upgraded later on, yet today they just spawn randomly (according to what you researched), and can't be upgraded. I also saw in the comments that there is supposely a T4 upgrade for them, but somehow it's not there (only one available is the T2 to spawn the Death Korps). Already tried to redownload the mod and verify the files.

Since it's new faction's features, i prefer to let it for the addon. Plus I'm pretty sure that the Kasr need some rework/balance.

@Hrafnulfur: The trick is to make a collection with all the mods you use and whenever there been an update just go into your collection and click "unsubscribe all" and then "subscribe to all". This has at least always worked for both me and a friend of mine I'm usually playing with.

I can't seem to upgrade the krieg models, there is no option to research more weapons for the krieg and no option to upgrade them, unless I'm missing something

I was using Steel Dog Alpha and it looked like his speakers (just the passive) were also applying to enemies. I checked Units/AstraMilitarum/SteelDogAlpha.xml and Traits/AstraMilitarum/Speaker.xml and I didn't see any conditions for allied units for the ability and trait. I should try unsubbing and resubbing first but sleep calls

The suppression ability was missing when i reworked the unit. That's the cause of the crash.

The Krieg Marshal and all the Death Korps' troops have been upgraded with new models an new features !

As before, the regular Death Korps Guardsman/Heavy Bolter squad can be upgraded with new weaponry when you research the "More Weaponry for the Death Korps" (T4) Research.

The heavy weapon squad have now a model much more immersive !

All Krieg folks (except the hero) can create defensive position (the engineer can do better) and to equip bayonet to repels the melee attacker.

As long as my mods are used as dependency (if your mod is shared on the workshop), i'm good.

If it's for a private/friend usage only, feel free to edit what you want without limit.

Hi again, Devian. I have tested a new game and the problem still persists. The ability is marked as "passive" ingame, so perhaps the problem is related to that. Once Sly acquire the ability, next turn you move Sly and a vulture appears automatically in the destination hex. And then in every new turn. Hope this helps
