Gives me the dreaded "choose production" glitch. Clearly there's an issue with the way the hill culture bit was designed that it bugs newly-created cities

Hello, when i load almost all your Civ mods with Civ IV Traits, the game crashes when it's loading. Do you know why this might be?

It's a known issue with DX9 - try DX11 if your PC is able to support it, should fix the issue

my clan castle is red and white all over, is this intentional? or are textures missing

This is a beautiful mod, especially on a Cold/Wet Climate map. The castles look awesome. Used this Civ as an AI opponent, and it gives a good challenge in the hand of the AI. Compatible with the CBP. Had two long games to the very end with it, and no problems.

Isn't the clan castle OP? Couldn't you build 20 of them and get 20 free units every war? I'm saying this just assessing the mod - I haven't tried it yet.

not gonna lie im displeased with the unit choice scots were know more for the super long pikes they had not somuch the large swords they had the irish were kinow for their big ol swords and some pretty nasty arrows

I know i'm late to the game (heh) but can I get a clan castle bonus if I conquer a Scottish city with them? The exp bonus in particular.

Logs are the best way to go, check through them and they might indicate an error somewhere

So apparently you fucked up the textkeys. I tried to fix it but failed. The problem seems to be in the decisions XML.

For some reason the mouse over function for the E&D events doesn't work and the items themselves have that whole TXT_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH thing going on. Use multiple mods of yours in the past and never had this issue before.

@General Snuggles [🔥TeamPyro] Getting to Civ V kinda late aren't we? Civ VI is just around the corner. However, that maybe the prefect time to buy it as they could put the rest of the games (Civ III, Civ IV, Civ V, the Colonization games, Civ BE) and the expansion packs on sale.

The only problem with that is how the heck do I pronounce "Ynys Wydryn"? XD

Still, this is a mod I'll keep in mind. I don't have Civ 5 or any of it's DLCs due to money troubles, but once I do have Civ 5 and the DLCs, I can guarantee this is one of the mods I'll be downloading :D

@General Snuggles: We also update the Celtic city list in this mod to be more Celtic - the capital becomes Ynys Wydryn for the Celts

Well Hiram made and MC is making a Celtic split (adapted from Hiram) to correct the amalgamation civ The Celts, much like Polynesia and Native American (Civ IV), Celt is a very broad term.

Wait...their Capital city is Edinburgh? Don't the Celts already have Edinburgh as their capital?

I know it makes geographical and historical sense, but it might be a bit confusing with two cities named "Edinburgh" on the map XD

I like the mod very much but the unit spawn from the Clan Castle seems not to work if two nations declare war simultaneously on you.

Very nice, but one problem: the clan castle (handsome shape) has a pink-and-white checkered surface. Is it my computer, or is there something I can do to fix this?

automated workers are crappy just in general, you're game would go soo much smoother with a little bit of micro-management. Btw this is by far the best Scotland mod out there, thanks for making it.

Unfortunately my workers keep spam building those clan castles. And then they tear them down to build trading posts. And then they tear those down to build clan castles. And then they tear those down to build trading posts... etc... etc..

Putting improvements into custom civs is pretty much always a bad idea. Somewhat impossible to play this atm.

For the Picts can I suggest either a Broch or Crannog improvement? I managed to mod a Crannog improvement myself that used the motte and bailey model and expanded waterside territory. Unfortunately I dont have the expertise or resources that you guys have but would be nice to see something similar. Maybe even consider Caledonians instead of Picts.
