For some reason when I have this active, anything with a halo or edge glow (items held by physics gun, stuff like that) simply stops having that glow. This was frustrating because I couldn't figure out why my edge glow tool wasn't working, until I realized I had this overlay on.

Looks great, love the mod, but just a fair warning that you might have trouble trying to make anything glow while this overlay is active in game.

Interesting idea, I would like to try that. I assume when a light source/sun shines on your screen, and then a dirty lens shows up. But there's no guarantee if I can make that effect; my knowledge is not as much as you think. I will ask UnknownDeveloper about this. Thank you for your input.

The origin of the addon that I have is unknown. I got it from a friend of mine who made a backup copy a long time ago. In the screenshots of my "MMod Particles" reupload, you can see a slight highlight in the lower left corner. That's what this addon is. In the SFM workshop I found a good set of “Dirty lens” highlights that could be transferred to GMOD. Hope you find this interesting

Good job guys! I previously left my comment, which is located on about 11-12 pages. And, as I assume, you are partial to post-processing in gmod. Earlier, in the comments under your work, I drew attention to one question (I could be wrong): “can you create a dirty lens/flare effect?” I was extremely interested in this, since I just have a good example of code that adds this very effect, but, in my opinion, it would not hurt to update / improve it... Unfortunately, my knowledge of code is very little for this work
