Yeah mate, ive learnt so much in the past 2 or so years that the content I had ready I feel isn't up to it now.

But the core packs and first rifles should start releasing in the next two months (for real this time 😅)

i know this is a pistol pack, but would it be possible to add compatibility for the .45 Osprey suppressor to fit on the vanilla Vector (Vermin) SMG? i figure a seperate patch would work but having it included in the base mod would be sick. it'd be nice to be able to mount some of these suppressors to some SMG platforms with how high quality they are

Thanks mate! Currently the 5.7 is using a Vanilla sound.

But in some excellent news, all the sounds are being rebuilt from scratch. They aren't ready just yet, but they sound fantastic! Massive step up across the board.

They do, however it's a bit tricky to pick up.

Essentially recoil and the muzzle flip animations are two seperate things. So the 'jump'/rotation you see in the gun is a fixed animation.

Then the actual recoil it settles down to IS effected by config.

I might go back through and tweak muzzle flip to reflect the lighter/heavier platforms

Do the compensators actually reduce recoil? I see in the config it says 0.5f, but I cant tell if it is.

Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately I don't have the resources to produce a better sound mod to suit, however I feel that the base game sounds for pistols are terrible.

These sounds are what these guns do actually sound like at a real range. I'll admit they're not perfect examples, but I'm not a game studio with a budget or high quality equipment 😅

There's an AMZ sound patch built in, I suggest running that. Excellent weapons sounds.

When I get around to it, there will be a JSRS patch as well.

In my opinion, the mod is not bad, but there are problems with the sound.

1) most pistols have the same shot sound, which will add the following problem, which is the second one.
2) The volume of every shots from the same pistol may differ that is looks weird. Sometimes the shot sounds dull, sometimes the sound is louder, but overall the sound of the shot is too quiet.

Absolutely good to go for your modlist.

But if you're asking to re-upload the mod, I'll politely decline. Please add this mod as a dependicy to your modlist / core mod. That way, you'll still have the mod but if the mod gets updated it'll happen automatically and all credits to model authors and the people that put the hard work in is maintained.

Certainly always updates in the pipeline. Currently working on the M17 and M18. They'll be included in the pack and also released standalone once complete.

Other than that and some fresh Trijicon optics I haven't got too much in the pipeline, but garunteed I'll keep adding over time

unfortunately the proxies used for certain attachments are hidden when in holsters, I assume to prevent clipping. I haven't found a way around that yet, its baked in as far as I can tell.

Hi Bax, it's using the CBA next optic mode function. Default is Control or Shift "/" on the numpad, but you can bind it to any key. That'll let you toggle between 4 brightness levels
