oh and the survivor arrival event "time range" is defined on the scenario too so u could have got unlucky to get a scenario that takes a lot of time to allow a 5th survivor or even one without the ability to get more than 4 survivors. idk if u using another mods but like i said this mod only changes the maximum allowed, not how much time it takes on each scenario to get a survivor so i would suggest u to try out with my collection linked above in the description or at least my improved loot & trade mod cuz im pretty sure, if my memory works, that its there where i made earlier to get the arrival events otherwise it would conflict with any mod that changes anything modified in scenarios like loot, event triggers, etc. the modding in this game is really limited mate

@Pervy a custom story can get basically any scenario in the game other than the ones specific to a dlc story like the one with the museum. a scenario is basically a setup of settings like the ones u can define in custom story (intensity of conflict, maps, when will snow, etc) plus others like loot config. there are a limited amount of scenarios available (i dont think its more than 15, u can download the storyteller and check it cuz i cant at the moment) and when u click start on a custom story it chooses one of them. idk if u like got a child and didnt see (cuz childs somehow cant join at least in custom storys if u dont choose them on the start) or if u start with more than 3 people u cant get more (never tested it and i never start with more than 3, usually 1 tbh lol) but months ago i was using this mod on a custom story and it worked and the game didnt update so ill be testing after i finish this playthrough, probably some more hours, and let u know what i found.

I guess this doesn't work well on custom scenarios. Been restarting when I get the Trader, 3 times and it's still the Trader.

@Vaine Okay, I see what you mean then. I only play Custom Scenarios, thank you for this clarification. Didn't know Trader, NPC Requests, and Survivor Arrivals were one event or combined as one. Thanks again!

@Pervy Incel survivor arrival is an event defined by the scenario, this mod doesnt change anything about that or it would conflict with my other mod that changes loot for example. the survivor arrival is an event that shares triggers with other events like trader and those where u lose a character for a night. another thing that influences it is the "condition" of the the people (like is everyone sad for a long period or always content) in ur shelter. im actually playing a playthrough and just got my 5th character with 5 of my mods active (this being one) and im only on day 26 but im not running a custom scenario. sometimes i just restart after receiving a trader or another event and it gives me the arrival one, u might wanna try that.

5th Survivor still not showing up after 29 days. Vanilla is 7-14 days, how long do I usually wait? I'm on 80 Days run.

@yuhui2 glad that u liked! the visit days are based on the scenario so it should be the same as vanilla since this mod doesnt change it. what i can tell u is that visits (traders, history events and characters) will take longer to happen on hard settings like long winter or high intensity of conflict. and once the event is triggered it will happen on that same day over and over again, u just need to quit and load again until u get the specific character u desire to knock at the door lol i hope this info helps u!

Hi! The mod is great, as it is one of the few still functioning mods for the final cut.
Now that the dweller cap has been changed to 8, on which days will they usually visit the shelter? Randomly?

so each our has 60 sec at night time. im gonna be testing to see if i find a way to make nights longer but at this time, even starting at 23pm, the night has 360seconds duration, same as the default value. the thing is that day has a total time option but night only has per hour option so yeah, as confirmed it dont work as it "should" lol

@HellO_HoW_ArE_YoU it seems like that. what i didnt test yet is if the game did that because i made each hour 60 seconds (visual only) or if it was opposite (made nights shorter), my intention was to make nights a bit longer lol but i already wrote it down here so i'll be testing it soon. thanks for letting me know!

We don't have access to the list of changes
