Also, is it intentional that laser blasters give buffs to adjacent weapons, but heavy ones only receive buff and not give any?

I found the cause of chaingun bug.
In the mod files steamapps\workshop\content\799600\3159806903\TREX_Chaingun\body\LV2.rules , row 698, it's using the projectile data of LV1 chaingun. All T2-5 are broken in this way.

Vanilla railgun buffs penetration, but the railgun from this mod doesn't. I think it should also be buffed.

heyhey! would it be possible to have perhaps an alternative version of this mod where the crew required to operate things is actually 0? I run a heavily automated mod list that allows me to build ships running on skeleton crew, and as a result, it is difficult to concile the constraints my game has with the crew requirements of your contrent - it looks and feels incredible, but prohibitively hard to maintain in some regards

コメントありがとう。ほとんどのパーツはレベル1と2は意図して弱くしました。ほとんどのパーツはレベル3でバニラと同じぐらいです。キャリアモードで遊ぶ事を想定して作ったのですが、序盤から強いパーツが使えるとゲームがつまらなくなってしまうと感じたのです。スラスターやシールドがアーマーに囲まれているとほぼ無敵です。だからせめてレベル1と2は弱くし、レベル4と5は強くなる仕様にしました。

Thanks for your comment. Most parts were intentionally made weaker at levels 1 and 2. Most parts are level 3 and about the same as vanilla. I made it with the idea of ​​playing in career mode, but I felt that the game would become boring if strong parts could be used from the beginning. When your thrusters and shields are surrounded by armor, you are nearly invincible. Therefore, at least levels 1 and 2 were made weaker, and levels 4 and 5 were made stronger.

Mod looked good and thought would try it. Am a little confused by the point in level 1 and 2. Specifically looking at the thrusters, their stats are all worse than the vanilla but cost vastly more. Am I missing something?

I think it can be created using RailGun textures based on IonBeamEmitter. However, I am not knowledgeable and do not fully understand how IonBeam works.
When I created RailGun, I repeated errors and retries more than 100 times. Actually, I wanted to make a RailGun that can be connected diagonally. I couldn't do it, so it turned out like that.
Anyway, I think if I can do something with IonBeam, I'll try making it.

RailGunを作った時も100回以上エラーとリトライを繰り返しました。本当は斜め方向に繋げて使うRailGunを作りたかったのです。できなかったのでああいう形になりました。
とにかくIonBeamでも何かできたら作ってみようかなと思います。

It just occurred to me that there are no Trex ion weapons. Maybe the railgun base could be used and modified for use as an ion turret to fit in with the rest of your roof mounted weapons?

No, I have never built a drone. However, if you change the Mod value, you can use it even without command points and crew. Although if the crew is 0, it is likely to be an error.
In my opinion, crew is like "blood" in the human body. I think the crew is an important part of moving a ship.
However, I am also interested in drones. Unfortunately I don't have the skills to make a drone...

Creating separate versions is difficult because it is difficult to manage and takes time.
However, I think it is possible to easily change to a type that does not use crew.

I love how these open up crazy new builds! I have just one request? take it as a very noncommital one, this is your mod afterall.

But, would it be possible to add versions of these turrets/parts that work autonomously, without crew needed? perhaps costing extra processors, or more Command Points? I *love* building drones and autoships, and the TREX parts would fit that excellently.

For example, normal Chaingun does 600 damage. In TREX, damage is 300 at LV1. There are exceptions. Weapons with long range will receive +10.
