I was a big fan of TFC and the rail gun was fun to use, and i think is they put this in TF2 it would make it alot more fun! Give it some interesting stats and abilities and your good to go!

The Railgun fires a medium-powered, perfectly accurate laser every time the fire key is either pressed or held down.
It uses one nail per shot and does not need to be reloaded.
In Team Fortress, the Railgun's fire can pierce walls.
It deals 23 damage per hit, more than a full Single-Barrel Shotgun blast. (From Team Fortress Wiki)
