Honestly... found you on Songs of Syx... but had discovered you had branched out to Soulash II an Stellaris. Love your work.

Good mod, hats off that you keep it up to date too. One thing that stood out that I'm not sure what to do with, is that Drakens have a need for pool but they don't like any of the pool types.

Just subscribed to this for the first time and it says there are no version folders in mod. lol I can see there is so idk what the issue actually is.

Some species boost does not seem to apply. Farms and Fisheries remain unchanged.
Looking at the files, humans have a star next to farms and amevians have for fisheries.
like this: ROOM_FISHERY*>MUL: 1.4,
I edited the mod files to also have the star in these 2 cases and the modifier now applies.

Is there a mod that shrinks (or entirely removes) the wings? they look a little obnoxious on the battlefield (and they dont need it anyway its not like they fly)

@Gaven Not difficult, but a lot of boring refactoring to do. I had to kind of 'guess' what the new costs would few balanced for this new system. So any value suggestions later on are welcome.

I saw the sprites and was like "Hey, I know those guys!" I have mucked about with these guys in Soulash 2 as well with your mod there lol. What other games have you modded your Draken/Dragonkin into?

@Marine Ecologist thank you for letting me know. Fixed the issues for Amevia. For issues with any other race, it is not being caused by this mod as it does not have any files that modify them. You can unsub and resub to the mod to force steam to update it to the lastest version.

Something about this mod messes with the racial bonuses of other races in v67 ex: When I load up Draken on its own, the racial fishing bonuses of 140% is removed from the Amevia and is instead a base 100% This goes for most of the other races as well, not only are the positive bonuses affected, but also some negative bonuses are removed, aside from the Draken race that is, which seem to be fine, but all of the vanilla races are affected.

@LexanRyde At some point I can see about reducing their population as a whole. Creating them as a race like Cantor or Argonosh requires me to do some research, right now I'm not even able to tell you if its something viable or not in the current modding system.

I was wondering, I tried the Vargen and they look genuinely hard and unique to play with which is something that I love, but I can't stop feeling like having a mod where the draken are kinda like the ancient races in the sense that you can't have a whole faction of them would be more fitting and would make my future playthroughs more enjoyable as they look like they would obliterate any ai army currently, any chance we'll get to see a submod of this one where they are only achievable through similar means as with the argonosh or cantors?

@Aly I'm genuinely so sorry.

I was making an assumption based on a UI graphic that does not represent their skill properly. it only has three pips and a related colour gradient which isn't exactly easy to interpret.

I checked their info page because I recently found out it exists and yes all the skills I thought the were average at (crafting and more specifically refining tasks) they are better than 100%

I love your mod, your sprites are gorgeous and I'm loving my Draken city. They will conquer and enslave the world, as they were once enslaved themselves.

@Dylan They sit at 120% for most crafting tasks, sitting behind only Dwarves (130%). They are best at Jewelcrafting at 150%. I wouldn't say that they are average since most races sit at 100%.

If you wouldn't mind I think you should make them like noise, Or at least be nuetral to it. Disliking noise makes them a little awkward to use in an industrial setup because they need to be sheltered from the noise of the industry they want to be close to.

@01A3-91C-2789B11F "Vala" I cannot replicate this. I have played multiple games on warm biomes and it never happened. Just in case it might be a new issue V66, I started a desert oasis game and left it running for a few years and had no deaths, only provided a warehouse, a well, a hunter and no clothes. Heat resistance calculation is 0.8 from the base game *2 from the mod, making it 1.6 in total, over double what other races have. If you have any mods that change those values, it might be what is causing issues.

So I start in a warm biome, which is where the Draken prefer, and they all die instantly to heat stroke, Is this a bug?

@Silhouette Everything is working as intended. The default values for vanilla races are being applied. Garthimi and Tilapi for example don't like them. The only vanilla race I have modified with this mod was Amevia, which I set to like the Draken.

if you feel like the current settings don't make much sense with the theme feel free to leave a suggestion though!

I think relations between this race and others need to be fixed; Everyone likes Draken, but Draken seem to hate everyone.

@DragynDance that is something that I cannot replicate. I just started a game for a quick check in a temperate map and its the opposite, there are no Draken leaders. Leader generation is done automatic by the game, I have no setting altering this. Usually leaders are placed in areas according to their enviromental preference, so a game with more deserts will have more Draken leaders (since they like hot areas), but rng is a huge factor too.

Enjoying the mod so far! But I do have one problem, whenever I start a new game/generate a new map, ALL of the NPC settlements are only Drakens? How do I fix this?

@Aly yeah since writing the post i did some looking, i have no shrines or temples beside the working shmal. ones, i have draken priests but when looking at properties the icon is green for athur. religion and another one for amin. theoretically the bar should be orange permanently since they have no other place to worship and no other religion but shmal. , smh tho they seem to be able to sacrifice and worship without a temple of "their religion" i noticed a drop in sacrifice need when a draken visited the stock as a watcher i also obseeved the worship need to drop on another draken when visiting the labs, in the religion tab however ive marked only shmal. which has since seen 0 believers temple 0% shrine 0% looking at the graph only amin. and athur. see a change of followers every other race is converted, also im playing with several mods like more options, traits expndd, garthimi expndd and another big content mod songs of...

You did an amazing job on the sprites! As someone who has only done a tiny bit of spriting I know that it can be a massive headache and you made a lot of variation while making everything fit in! Amazing work!

I was actually going to start this by mentioning a tiny typo but you absolutely deserve some praise! The tiny typo is on the fire gland, when your looking on the army tab (in your capital so your militia) to check training and equipment, in which the fire gland's tooltip has, "Draken" mistyped as, "Fraken" which I personally find funny and someone smarter than I can absolutely make a, 'release the fraken' pun. Either way, just wanted to let you know about it if this hasn't been documented so far.

Just want to comment and say this mod is pretty great, it also got me looking into Soulash 2 and am eagerly awaiting 0.8 to make a functioning settlement of them in not one, but two games!
