For now keeping the bugged stations doesn't brick anything, just means some rather quiet stations will popup which can still be repaired and activated.

Its a bit complicated, I can rework the existing beacon stations to the new system, but it frankly isn't a great new system, biding my time to see what happens next as there is an ongoing github discussion about it here if you want to better understand the issues at hand: https://github.com/FakeFishGames/Barotrauma/discussions/14291

Does that mean the previous bandit beacon stations will be removed? That would technically fix the issue I think.

LCBeaconStation2 has no gap between second left ladder hull and bottom left hull, so water goes in there cannot be removed.

I don't know possible that or not, but I always wanted some big beacons (not actually beacons,more even a refuel station or something)
with pirates, to just explore and shoot some pirates. Is smth like that possible?

Good ideas, but I'd rather keep these ones to generic coalition built stuff. Which is a good excuse for why they reuse bits and design.

Well the logic for an lighthouse are either:
Option A:
Early colonization era of Europa, most likely subs didn't mostly use Sonar back than it was just for military subs as such sight was much more important then signals. plus a Lighthouse can serve the purpouse to guide people through a route, if you see the Lighthouse, you are going on the right way, like a landmark.

Option B:
In Barotrauma it isn't too weird for the Paranormal and Weird to happend, not without the Eldritch Alien Ruins, so it could be an eerie monument, kinda like the Pyramids seen on Mars. It could be an Ancient Lighthouse made by the Alien Civilization that inhabitated Europa, it could be something paranormal, the sight of an 1800s Lighthouse in modern time Europa.

The light components on top of beacon stations in my head canon are to help avoid collision with the beacon, but when all submarines rely on sonar, having a lighthouse isn't as important, nor does the beacon station need to fulfil the role of a light house we have here on Earth. It isn't there to warn people of rocky and dangerous terrain, It is there to act a guiding signal through a route (at least I assume that's what it is, as its a long range signal transmitter. "Getting it back online will make the passage easier for other vessels to traverse, and help colonies to spread further")
