Damn, Disposal easily does more than 160 damage in a single scene

@Someone did you deal more than 160 damage in a single Scene in second phase? One of her statuses tells you to not do that.

Maybe I missed something, but I manage to bring Crowley's hp to 1 in hard mode and it just ends in a defeat? I had certain mods that made it easier. Like having distorted rudolph mod's herd so I can stockpile Disposal in Nikolai's hand for phase 2 because it gets out of hand too quickly.

@BadgerTheBoss did any librarians die in second phase? That seems to make things bug out. I've been trying to fix it.
If not, is anyone purging neutral statuses or being immune to them?

At this point, I'm CONVINCED this is something out of my control. I got her to 100 hp and she just won because screw me!!! Bah!!!!!!!

Okay. Here come the complaints. I still haven't gotten to Hard Mode because Normal Mode's anticheat keeps annihalating me when I get to around 300 HP. The same "Darling, if your heart isn't in it..."

What in tarnation am I doing wrong here!? Presently doing this with Sleepy's page from Turbulence, Mirinae, Tanya, Olivier and Argalia on Religion, but I've got to this same point purely vanilla with Philosophy instead. Is the anticheat annihalating me because I keep cheesing out Exsanguinate by using antirecycling ranged pages? Or is it because of one of the mods I've been using!? The only things I use are Retargettable Mass Attacks and Reextraction, I swear! This BIRD is (both intentionally and unintentionally) DRIVING ME MAD!

@点子王 this problem has been reported before. Is the message displayed "天，别这样！要是你砸了舞台或者演员整个演出就跟着完蛋了！" when you are forced to leave? If so, you may need to completely reinstall the game to fix this. No culprit or solution has been found yet, but it might work.

I have been forced to fail multiple times while attempting to challenge the hard mode. I swear that I did not use non original core pages or battle pages. I originally used the core page of the purple ending person, but after failing to enter, I replaced it, but still couldn't enter. @LCE EGO:Ardor Blossom Star Faust the only rules first Reception has is no keypages (both used and attributed) or cards above Urban Plague or total attribution cost over 8, both of which are mentioned in Cowardice passive. That's it. Are your decks meeting these criteria?
Do note that it can randomly bug out and trigger on wrong things, which apparently can be fixed by restarting the game.

hey im not trying to hate or anything, but the lack of clear rules for the receptions makes playing this a hassle. im trying to do the first reception over in the urban plague section but i constantly get a failure. not exactly sure if the first reception has the same rules as the second one, but i (think?) im following those rules and it still gives me an instant fail.

an anticheat without clear outlines is annoying. it feels almost as bad as those funny 30-30 mass attacks in mods which you cant prepare for. at least its at the very beginning, but even then, i *want* to use my modded stuff, its fun.

sorry if i went on a rant, the mod looks really fun but its just sad i need to play it by adhering to rules which arent specifically outlined anywhere.

Crowley is based on, uh, Nerissa Ravencroft, a v-tuber (mostly in terms of design with some similar personality traits, Crowley is not meant to straight up be Nerissa, unlike Nemesis). Meanwhile, Hell Lusts are based on Hell Vanguards from Devil May Cry 3.

welp i got the hell lust book i just went to the hell lust fight and just used the cheat box to get his book crtal 1 so i dont lag the game i think is what happene is that the hell lust book is in the hard mode you might have by incident make the reward for the normal verson being the incomplate book

@Saveroer the only way to trigger an instant loss in normal mode should be bringing Crowley's keypage to any fight featuring her. This otherwise shouldn't happen.
BGM used for Hell Lust is Taste The Blood from DMC3. Crowley uses both versions of Three's theme from Drakengard 3.

hey @Gyarou sorry for the ping but forsome reason the hard mode deafet screen appers on the nomral reception and blocks me from trying i also tryed useing the same keypages i used to win the reception last time around (the normal verson i won angest) and it still blocked me

also still great mod i like how hard yet fair it is and what is the song names for both receptions

welp you cant at eveything but like wise you cant lose at eveything so i might try and see if i can get them from the hard mode witch in that case i will probaly lose my sanity but i will try my best

@Saveroer that's weird, you should have obtained regular books for killing them with keypages.

@Saveroer Unstable Book does not drop keypages, only cards. Corroded Hell Lust is an IC keypage and thus, it is not given in an UP Reception. You need to beat Crowley for them.

i might be looking at the right places but the keypage for hell lust is not showing up in the unstable book or is it somewhere? i checked crowely's book and its not there

@伊吹萃香 this might be related to their death animations.
As for the animation being misaligned, I'm not sure what's up with that, I only know that it tends to not work correctly in general, but so far, I've only seen problems with the walking and throwing portions of it, not the impalement.

I've noticed a slight glitch with Exsanguate, it tends to to softlock the game when I use it, I noticed this when I used Crowley's page against the Distorted Ensemble and it just softlocked. Noticeably, the target also was underground rather than on the spear for the animation.

why is there an anticheat in the first place? Just wondering. I mean, if people don't wanna play the mod the intended way, what's the point of making something to stop them when there's people who WILL enjoy the mod the way it's intended?

@Yu falco you can. If you are referring to Urban Plague fight, don't enable Binah.

@未明 Bleed during Crowley fight is a neutral status and has a distinct name (at least in English). You need to use special cards given to Crowley's Partner to survive.
Bleed you gain from rewards is a status ailment, standard Bleed. Player version of Crowley has an effect reducing Bleed damage and several additional effects that can help reduce it further, but there is otherwise no protection.
