This mod is now updated for 1.5, and is compatible with VRE Pigskins, Genies, and Highmates. It is specifically NOT compatible with VRE Hussars.

@神说万岁 Yes, eventually. Sorry, I've fallen off Rimworld lately and this hasn't been on my mind, but I won't leave it for dead. Thanks for letting me know about the Moon Sugar update, I'll be sure to tweak the dependencies.

Fwiw, most of this mod should still work fine under 1.5 even if it complains about being outdated. It's possible the Hussars won't work because of the dependency being transferred, but if you go into the mod folder and delete the Hussar changes it'll work fine until I can get a fix in.

Suggestion, for the 1.5 update. Give the Hussars their Go-Juice Dependency back, there is a medieval go-juice mod.

Thats not the point though, the point is that according to actual scientific data, neanderthals were highly intelligent. The wording isn't whats important here.

@OddHornedNinja - thanks for the report. i’ve made a fix for this, but rimworld is not letting me update the mod right now for whatever reason. i’ll leave a comment here once the change goes through.

The hussars genes are not inheritable it seems. I ran just this mod and its dependents to make sure.

@Miss Bonafide - I'd be happy to do that! Would you personally prefer that they keep the Frostling name, or should it go back to "Neanderthal" for the standalone mod?

You should make a small standalone mod for frostlings. I also find it frustrating that neanderthals are always stereotyped as dumb oafs. They are (erm, were) really interesting!

@Voro - Feel free to edit the race defs yourself. :) I would rather have to put a pawn on psychite than have to radically adjust the way I use them, personally!
