Plus I'm not sure if the snarks they spawn respect the spawner grunt's team alignment or not.

I'll definitely look into it, although from what I remember the elite grunt is a tad unfinished.

Selecting multiple NPCs seems to be an issue with the way the menu controls are set up and isn't intended. Make sure to only press one movement key at a time when selecting NPCs otherwise you'll need to exit out to reset the menu.
