Tested and Confirmed: This does have controller support.

Build Info > Toolbar > (scroll down to) Action Status Font Override > Off
makes the texts appear again. Bonus points for Action Icons > Custom

That took so, so long to find. T_T

Oh thanks, yea, I meant those texts. I just opened a new world to test before posting that last comment. The texts were there on vanilla and when I only added Build Vision 3.0(+Rich HUD Master) & BuildInfo (+Text HUD API), but disappeared when I added Jacks Hud. I'll check why would BI turn that function off when this mod is installed, maybe a safeguard to avoid conflicts?

First, thank you for using this mod, echoMateria. I appreciate the subscription and that someone else likes it enough to use it. See the 3rd and 4th screenshot.

The hotbar text is there in this mod, I made that text larger and slightly brighter than it is in the vanilla hud. Is that the text you're referring to? The text included with the hotbar icons in the lower right of the action slot that tells us the state of that item?

If you happen to be using Build Info that mod disables that text by default. You have to adjust Build Info's settings for it to display.

A more urgent concern is my inability to see the status of batteries and thrusters on hotbar while using this hud. Am I missing them somewhere on the screen or maybe a hotkey to enale those?

Normally I can see if the thrusters of a vehicle are on, the bateries are on auto or recharge all on the hotbar right on their icons. (RichHudMaster even adds battery percentages.)

Of course, it would be a cool integration if possible. But if it is too much trouble, don't worry about it. Not like it is breaking the mod or anything. Thanks for taking the time to even check it.

I'll take a brief look at it and see what I can do. I'm not going to torture myself digging through a bunch of nonsense code to do it if their code is the same mess of not even remotely necessary content like their workshop pages are.

No, sadly both both the colored and normal versions only do support Eat. Drink. Sleep. Repeat! .

Which lost all its appeal for me (and I had to switch to Daily Needs) when my players discovered that if you sit on anything while eating/drinking you do not consume the food/drink while still filling your bars, thus defeating the whole survival element and the whole reason I needed it on this server. (apparently it has been a known issue for years)
Jack Schitt  [author] 6 Mar, 2024 @ 3:35am
Is there a separate 'Modern Fancy' hud release that supports Daily needs?
echoMateria 6 Mar, 2024 @ 3:11am
Daily Needs has its own hud element that shows up at top left ( imgur dot com/a/F2fnHuK ), but still does work with this Hud mod without a conflict. But it doesn't look as good as this cool hud and doesn't mesh well with it.

So I was wondering if you would consider supporting it like how HUD - Modern and Fancy supports Eat. Drink. Sleep. Repeat! ( imgur dot com/a/XxRWn5X ).

What does Daily Needs do to the hud?

Thanks for this mod. Would you consider adding support for Daily Needs? (?id=1608841667)

I'll look in to that when it's finished. There's a few things I'd like to do to it that I haven't figured out how to do yet. If you follow the instructions and run this HUD locally you'll have it in all games including multiplayer without having to add it as a mod.

Would you consider adding it to plugin loader?
