Here is a little guide about adding character costumes (like hair) without lua

1. Add costume="33" and costumeSuffix="nameOfYourCharacter" variables into your players.xml file (33 is the costume id from Lazarus 2)

2. Where you would normally have your costumes folder, create another folder called costumes_nameOfYourCharacter

3. Put your character's costume image into the costumes_nameOfYourCharacter folder and name it character_009_lazarushair2.png (which matches the id from the Lazarus 2 costume), the costume image should match the layout of the hair from Lazarus 2 (check pinned messages for reference)

Done, no longer go bald in the mines escape sequence!
I would like to mention that you don't have to only use the costume from Lazarus 2, I chose it because iirc there isn't anything else that uses it (other than Laz 2 himself of course).

Having a cat from another mod laugh at me at high volume for not getting Delirium void from Mega Satan while Bocchi mod music playing in background hits hard af and a good laugh

Also the strange thing is: whenever I take dmg, pick up any item or jump down the next floor theres an animation sprite with hair for a second.

@BenShybiCut13 the folder was there, I rebooted laptop,reinstalled the game and verified files but nothing has changed and all Kessoku band members are still bald. Inside the folder there are 3 folders: linux32, linux64 and socket; lua files: enums, json, main, mobdebug and socket; also licenses text file. I'm on win 10 pro if that somehow helps xd.

The only other mod I use is ''[AB+|Rep] External Item Descriptions'' (tried without it, didn't help).

@idkunto7 try to check if there is a folder called "scripts" in "resources" of your isaac game folder
if it is not there, reinstall or verify files on your Isaac.
the mod uses lua files for the costumes so that should be the problem.

Idk why my bocchi has no hair and I even didnt play coop, no other than that mods are installed. Felling miserable.
