Please sometime consider putting up a guide to making this work on a dedicated server, If I find out how to make it work, I'll put it here myself.

its a shame it has a dependency on Farming Time as i'm not sure if that has conflicts with Farmable Tree's, Mo crops, or Crops never rot... and i dont want to mess up the stability i have rn in my hosted worlds or SP... looks like a wicked map for bush survivals but rn for me not worth the possible headache

just started up a mp game using this map, idk why people were saying it doesn't work in multiplayer because it's working just fine for me

Seems to be a bug near the middle of the map where you'll go from 3-4 zombies along a path to suddenly nearly 200-300 or more zombies, Nearly got killed by suddenly a city's worth of zombies in a small forest path

... so I simply can't seem to figure out a way to actually run this map on a dedicated server. I've gotten other custom maps - like Clear Cove - to run just fine, but no matter what I do, whenever I try to spawn a character on a server running Lost to Nature my game crashes with an error saying it's impossible to create a player at the spawn point coordinates defined in objects.lua because the square is null.

Am I missing something here, or is this map just plain broken?

You can't have trees on floors above the ground, so all the trees on the hills are invisible but still block line of sight, is there a way to remove them?

Fixed it! Just had to delete the "map_zone.bin" file under /zomboid/Saves/Multiplayer/"Servername" to reset all the foraging zones

Also, I haven't had a population density issue-- I set it to "Urban", so I know I'm nearing something manmade if I see a ton of zombies nearby

Wow, amazing map. What really took it to the next level was that moment of realization that I would need to traverse the dark mineshafts in order to cross the bridge. Really memorable experience.

As a solo player who's played Aza's The Forest map too many times, it's nice to have new POIs to explore. I've stumbled across a forge, hoping to find some additional crafting tables (for tailoring) on my journey.

I had really succesful run, but my save corrupted first time in my 300h PZ adventure and my progress is lost :( I have no idea what was the reason

Anyway i think i will give this map a second chance sooner or later, maybe after build 42 release (for hunting). If you plan to update this map in the future, i will strongly recommend to set diffrent zombie population density in diffrent part of map, because the amount of them is hillarious. No matter if you are in deep forest, town ruins or river shore - they are everywhere... After 12 days i killed around 2000 zombies! (also spears are OP). I was really glad that i set day=2hours setting, other way i will spend a night in wilderness for too many times and i feel that would be extremaly hard to survive, when surrounded by zombies.

Also i got one question: Is it possible to repair destroyed walls or you have to destroy them first?

This map is amazing. I was surrounded by zombies after waking up and had to flee into a mineshaft. I saw coryceps spores in the air, so quickly put on my gas mask to see my filter was nearly empty. I headed down a narrow tunnel with a floor of dead bodies beneath me, searching for anyone who survived the initial outbreak and had a gas mask. I finally found a filter just before I was about to meet the same fate... I then found a camp in a collapsed tunnel, with skeletons watching over their last, conveniently useful, belongings, including an old double-barrel shotgun which I sawed off and stowed in my holster, just in case. My hope was short lived when my flashlight ran out of battery and I realised I had no spares... stuck in a mineshaft full of dead bodies in total darkness, as my filter slowly decayed... :steamthumbsup:

I just played few hours on this map and i'm loving it. This map is perfect for foraging gameplay, so my recomendation will be definitely very rare loot for better immersion of collapsed civilization (@Eli). The only issue is a density of zombies :( so far they are literally everywhere and suprisingly it makes the game easier, cause of constant vigilance. Also, not the biggest fan of unwalkable water fields in north town (imo they have no sense). Anyway - great job, your map is huge and amazing 5/5

What loot settings do you recommend for this map? :) I normally play with Rare + Loot decreases over time mod

@Dbroussa: Yes there are, but they are all crashed/super low condition. The occasional good car has a chance to spawn instead too.

@adictosalfichin: You can try - I have added the flax seeds in foraging that is why the mods are required. It might still work without the mods, but i have not tried.

@RamboTurkey: There are plenty of spawns on the outskirts with no Zs. Some spawns are inland where there are Zs.

same issues that i have with other outdoors maps, no spawn protection very likely to get bit before you spawn in, and zombie clusters every five feet leaving no place to forage in peace

I spawned in on the map but for some reason its just complete pitch black, i cant drop items, move around, or do anything. Help?
