I did wat you said and the issue doesnt happen with just this mod alone, even more odd, when i turn every mod back on, it work fine, no issue like it never happen. I did remove some soil mod before, i guess it somehow incompatible and drag this mod into the mess

Thank you for the help, you can delete the comment if you like, i think it more confuse than help for other xD
ScarKy0  [author] 5 Aug @ 3:21pm
@Quilava Any mods that change the default soil aren't compatible with this mod, does your issue still happen if this is the only mod you run?
Quilava 5 Aug @ 7:54am
Im noticed for some reason my colony wealth is over 300k at start when im testing, after some research, i found that soil mod make all dirt on the map count as your, i try turn this mod off and it did fix it

Not sure if anyone else have this problem, if it is really a bug, hope you can patch it up, i still need this mod for farming :sad_seagull:
ScarKy0  [author] 13 Jul @ 4:50am
@Zeraiya then it sounds like compatibility issues
Try to update the mod to pull the patch I made if you haven't, if this doesn't help i'm afraid I can't help with anything else.

@ScarKy0

Oh that's interesting. I do have my error logs turned on, however I never even get the "fill" or "empty" option. I didn't experience any errors, but that's probably because there has never been any interaction with the barrels themselves. I have no issues up until the organic matter step but after that the organic matter just sits around forever. I have noticed that the barrels still show the "ruined by temperature" status even though there's nothing inside.
ScarKy0  [author] 13 Jul @ 2:37am
@Zeraiya
I just pushed a small update, when testing I noticed there was in fact a small issue with 1.5
Did you have your errors logging disabled? (As in the console doesn't open on errors), cause I immediately got errors when trying to compost stuff.
And there is supposed to be a "Fill compost barrel" and "Empty compost barrel" options you can force your colonists to do.
Zeraiya 12 Jul @ 10:03am
@ScarKy0

I'm currently running the 1.5 version as I don't want to upset my mod-list in my current playthrough. However, I still had this problem before the 1.6 update dropped so I don't think it's version related.

I have multiple pawns assigned to Grow and with high priorities.

It's like a mod conflict but my list is long so it will take a long time to troubleshoot. Could you answer the following question as it may give me a clue on what type of mod: will you be able to force a colonist to interact with the composting barrel? i.e. tell them to fill or empty it?
ScarKy0  [author] 12 Jul @ 6:18am
@Zeraiya
Are you on 1.6?
Emptying and filling composting barrels is under Growing in the work tab, so make sure you have pawns assigned to it.
If that doesn't work, verify your game files (I believe it updates workshop mods) or check if any other mod could mess with it somehow
Zeraiya 12 Jul @ 5:06am
Hi - sorry if this is a stupid question but I've been so confused for a long time. How does the composting system actually work? I can make organic matter at the butcher table but what happens next. I have built composting barrels but there is no interaction available with the barrels and my pawns never bring anything to and from it. I also have the advanced farming toggled on. Am I missing something?
ThePhantomX64 6 Jul @ 3:45pm
nice, 1.6 update, I am waiting for the 1.6 update to officially release with the DLC before redoing my modlist
Quilava 6 Jul @ 6:27am
Finally, i can feed my colony with minimal farming zone
ScarKy0  [author] 6 Jul @ 6:15am
1.6 should work now!
玬玎茱莎 5 Jul @ 8:14pm
1.6 please
ScarKy0  [author] 25 Aug, 2024 @ 12:45pm
@ThePhantomX64 No problem, im glad you enjoy it!
ThePhantomX64 25 Aug, 2024 @ 10:27am
Ah ok I see, cool. Now that I got the explination. I think I understand this mod more. Overallneat mod tbh and thanks for creating it :D
ScarKy0  [author] 25 Aug, 2024 @ 3:47am
@ThePhantomX64 SoS2 has artificial soil or something along those lines you can place
My mod adds an enriched and enhanced variant + fixes an annoying bug that would spawn infinite compost each time the ship left the planet
ThePhantomX64 24 Aug, 2024 @ 10:39pm
What does the mod add in for a compromise then?
ScarKy0  [author] 24 Aug, 2024 @ 7:43pm
@ThePhantomX64 Regular soil replaces your hull tiles, meaning your ship would have holes in it
So yeah, regular soil doesnt work in space
ThePhantomX64 24 Aug, 2024 @ 2:55pm
btw for the SOS2 compat, is the normal soil not work in space? I haven't gotten around to trying it so that is why I ask.
ScarKy0  [author] 17 Aug, 2024 @ 8:14am
In fact I made the soil fertility a config simply so people can choose their own way they wonna play with this
ScarKy0  [author] 17 Aug, 2024 @ 8:13am
@ThePhantomX64 I mean in the end it depends on the person if they wonna have an OP colony or not, personally im a fan of getting OP
ThePhantomX64 17 Aug, 2024 @ 7:28am
A part of me thinks it would be op and the other says maybe it wont
ScarKy0  [author] 17 Aug, 2024 @ 12:24am
@ThePhantomX64

If you mean Soil Relocation Framework, I only ever used it to make a small patch so the mods dont break together. I never checked if they'd be OP together or not.
ThePhantomX64 16 Aug, 2024 @ 10:21pm
Hey, and you every tried this mod with the relocating soil mod? Would this and that mod just end up being too op to have together?
ScarKy0  [author] 23 Jul, 2024 @ 7:33am
@Bunuffin Replace the value with 120%, but you can just remove the tilling after to bring back the original value
Bunuffin 23 Jul, 2024 @ 7:33am
i know, if i put it over the rich soil will it add the 20% on top of 140% of the rich soil or will it replace with the value of the tilled soil?
ScarKy0  [author] 23 Jul, 2024 @ 7:28am
@Bunuffin No, Rich soil is still the same thing as ever, this mod simply allows you to place new tilled(120%), enriched(140%) and enhanced(160%) soils
Rich soil still spawns around randomly and does its own thing
Bunuffin 23 Jul, 2024 @ 6:30am
no just normal 140% soil, so it replaces the 140 with 120%?
ScarKy0  [author] 23 Jul, 2024 @ 6:24am
@Bunuffin Hey, is High Fertility Soil a mod or something? Or do you mean rich soil from the game? The mod doesn't interact with rich soil and simply adds a placeable version.
I couldn't find a mod called High Fertility Soil so I'm unsure of how theyd interact.
Bunuffin 23 Jul, 2024 @ 4:52am
how does this mod interact with high fertility soil?
ScarKy0  [author] 8 Jul, 2024 @ 12:01pm
@Jw42291 Thanks for notifying me! I'm always scared things will somehow break whenever I make a patch
Jw42291 8 Jul, 2024 @ 11:39am
Update is working beautifully, just wanted to stop back in and say thanks again <3

@Jw42291 No problem! I'm always happy to see a new comment so usually I'm more than likely to fix issues quickly if they appear, as long as I know how to
Jw42291 6 Jul, 2024 @ 4:49am
Holy crap you move fast lol, thanks for the update, you're awesome <3
ScarKy0  [author] 5 Jul, 2024 @ 5:14pm
Updated, if anything is broken do tell me!
ScarKy0  [author] 5 Jul, 2024 @ 4:02pm
@Jw42291 No worries! I'm about ready with the patch in case you wonna continue using both, it will look messy but it will not be broken
Jw42291 5 Jul, 2024 @ 3:56pm
Okay, sorry to bother you lol, I think it was just wishful thinking on my part that they'd somehow not interfere with eachother
ScarKy0  [author] 5 Jul, 2024 @ 3:18pm
@Jw42291 Hey thanks for telling me

Both mods modify the soil definition and things break, I'll make a small bandaid patch to make it anyhow "usable"

Both of these mods shouldnt be used together at best, but maybe eventually I will have an idea as to how make them work
Jw42291 5 Jul, 2024 @ 2:21pm
@ScarKy0 I'm having a weird interaction between this and Soil Relocation Framework, when I dig up soil I also sometimes get compost from this mod <3
ScarKy0  [author] 10 Jun, 2024 @ 2:03am
@Nublythenub Inside a butcher's table
If you have a setting enabled you'll also need a composting barrel after
Nublythenub 9 Jun, 2024 @ 3:48pm
How do I make compost?

Didn't have much time to test if Save our Ship 2 compatibility 100% works

Also if anyone would like to help out with the textures, feel free to reach out
ScarKy0  [author] 24 May, 2024 @ 9:27am
It's done but lacks textures, which will take me quite a while to get
ScarKy0  [author] 22 May, 2024 @ 9:29am
Currently working on an update that adds an alternative way of making compost(similiar to how beer is made), which will be a toggle in the settings.

Hopefully everything goes right with that.

@#6 No problem and enjoy the mod! If you ever have any issues or suggestions feel free to comment.
#6 20 Apr, 2024 @ 12:56pm
The issue I had in the past was related to the fact that the previous tillable mod I used was checking specifically for its own tags to determine where the tiles could be placed. Since yours only checks for "growable" it should work much better than the old one did. Cheers, and thanks for the quick response. :)
