I don't want to break any more of the mod's promises, so I can't say I'll definitely make it. Don't expect too much.
Try to prevent the explosive lockbox from appearing, and if it's difficult, try reducing the self-destruct damage of the lockbox as much as possible. Or both.
I've started working on it, so if things go well I'll upload it.

...now I just need a mod to put an end to the "box of mines" troll trap Egosoft put in, and I can stop using the fly-by lockbox mod
