Hi are barons allowed to vote in elective succession laws now? Or is this still blocked?

Barons now are playable, if you know how, but they are really limited, you can marry but not have the spouse in the council, in fact you can not have anyone in the council, you can not have anyone in your court positions neither, but i have checked that you can edit this to allow barons to be able to, you can not organize activities, but you can be invited to activites and travel to said activities, you can use decisions, you can pick a lifestyle but not get experience and it gets unpicked after every load, you can have mma and station them in your barony, you can use schemes.

i looked into that previously, that seems to be hardcoded. Cant mod that. A lot of barony stuff is hardcoded.

Started a new game this morning and crashed a bit into February. After spending the whole day on and off testing, it's this mod. Confirmed with just this mod active and crashing. I've only tested using custom made landless adventurer characters, so might only be affecting them. Thinking that might be the case because during one of the tests, while the mod was still active, the custom made character died with his heir taking over (created via the Love Marriage Family mod) and the game advanced passed the crash point.

Don't know if it's intentional but you got a mod in a mod in the file structure. May be affecting the faction stuff from working.

Technically your War Score still ticks up in your favor because you are a defender and are not occupied by them, but that is still over three years of waiting for a war to end after you finished a battle and a siege.
My advice is to pair this with the mod "More points(sic) for Capital". It makes capturing their capital (in this case, their only city) worth 80 points instead of just 10. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2798804561

To the author, I recommend adding something similar.

great idea but the triggers are not reasonable
the war score of siege can only get 10 by captured capital
if the rebel baron number is not enough, we cant reach the 100 target score

im not touching the mod beyond keeping it functional and compatible with ck3 versions

you can pitch the idea to MIV dev, i allow anyone to use my code and pick up the mod further

I like the idea of giving barons more relevance but i also use More Interactive Vassals mod and it really doesn't make sense to me that as an emperor trying to revoke a title from a lowly baron can trigger a massive civil war. If i may offer a suggestion then maybe you could add a game option where if the title being revoked is a barony tier and the revoker has at least a king tier title then the baron is much more likely to accept or maybe even auto-accepts like in vanilla. I can see a rich/influential baron resisting a count or a duke but i think beyond that it simply doesn't make sense. Perhaps the same principle can also be added to their desire to join factions so that they can only join factions targeting counts and dukes.
