I mainly just said that since I don't see the point in pondering over the unrealistic power of the defib in this game since it's a thought that takes less than three minutes to answer why it is so.
This wasn't really meant to be an insult or complaint. Just an impulsive response to the question you have placed there

Since I already had in mind what kind of "balance" issues it has by itself it's not a very cool idea to just make a little complain instead of asking my dev's thoughts first.
This mod by itself only makes the defibrillator worse than before objectively, yes, just like in real life because well, a defibrillator isn't a first aid as you say, it's a tool which only grants you some small window of living in bad situations.
Now, when it comes to the mod itself, speaking of "gameplay balance" it's indeed horrible 'cause it is not intended to be "balanced" by itself. It's intended to be combined with other mods or even be packed inside modpacks to be more "balanced".
Although I'm planning on making new mods which work together with my previous ones and with this one too so, this one to be specific, will not be "unbalanced" in terms of gameplay.
Entiendo el hecho de lo injusto que puede ser en malas situaciones pero el punto es ese aunque no parezca xD. Prevenir que el jugador lo use en situaciones de estrés evocando un poquito más de realismo en ese sentido.
Y debido a que entiendo la posible injusticia que evoca esta mecánica pues también lo aclaré en la descripción misma diciendo qué obviamente al ser una mecánica tan castigadora y dura no es para la comodidad de cualquier jugador, para evitar quejas injustificadas xd
Pero tu comentario contiene más entusiasmo por la mecánica más que otra cosa pero llevándola a un plano similar, así que con gusto aceptaré tu petición :3
I have thought about it the whole time, and I accept how it is in game, because beyond realism, a defib that only resurrects you and only heals you to the bare minimum required to function would make it significantly worse to use than any other support item in game, to the point that people would likely carry fire ammo and explosive ammo for a whole map compared to carrying a defib that only gives you a small window at living, which makes it worse than just searching for a revive cabinet.
I get why this mod is made, but to ponder about why the defib is not realistic is a no-brainer. You would have to significantly nerf the medkit to make people consider bringing the defib, and all methods of nerfing the medkit would either make the painpills the meta, or make the painpills redundant
Yeah, I think the acid is so strong that doesn't care about shoes. That's actually a great idea :3

Yeah, some scores are a little buggy, this add-on has nothing in particular with that, it's just the way score works, one day I got -1 death counts XD
Also, for some reason being revived by defib removes a death from your overall score. So in the end credits Francis death number was still zero!
