Do remember this is not a missions mod, this mod is mainly for people who make their own missions in the editor.
This does NOT replace units in the main story missions nor can It.
I already replied to this same comment you made back in November last year.
You need to unsubscribe and then re-subscribe to the mod to apply the update. The helmets were fixed.
Also, do remember, the helmets are meant to be used with the uniforms that are included in the mod.
No, this does not effect any of the vanilla uniforms/sounds/assets in the game nor can It. This is a mod with uniform & faction assets to make your own missions.
As mentioned in the description of this mod, "sometimes faces may show while in FPS view"
Unfortunately this is due to me not being able to import custom heads properly into the game via our current SDK and thus I need to make the heads apart of the uniforms.
I may go back and redo this mod to remove the custom heads and make use of the vanilla heads in-game, I unfortunately just still find them a little lacking.
I just checked in-game, all the uniforms are still compatible with the new character models, the only issue is the the neck from the new player models slightly protrudes out. This is only because the option to hide the entire original playermodel's head was changed and I am still unable to add or edit the new heads yet with the current SDK.

Those issues have been fixed, you may need to unsubscribe and resubscribe to the mod in order to see the fixes.
Appreciate the communication though!
Let me see if I can add some caps myself then.
Yeah, unfortunately I can't speak for other helmet mods that people use in conjunction with my mod, It is something they will have to adjust themselves, and even then, It's not a guarantee to still be compatible with this mod's uniforms.
But at least now you CAN actually have some helmets that are wearable and presentable on my mod's uniforms again lol.
All helmets should work now in the BETA version as stated below from a previous comment
It appears the last update made it so headgear didn't show up when you had the option on the uniforms set to "Do not show head but show headgears", which to the nature of this mod showing the uniform WITH the original heads it caused problems. Thanks to the amazing developers, they remedied this issue.
However, It made the helmets displayed way to low with the characters heads poking through the top so I took the time and adjusted each and every one of them accordingly.
The only issue now that I am still unable to fix is the fact there is still a neck protruding out of most of the models. With the new model update, hiding heads no longer hides the neck so we will have to wait and see until the devs are able to adjust this as well.
Thank you all for the patience
tldr: The mod is fixed and helmets work now! (In the beta version)
Thank you for the heads up! I actually am rolling out an update as we speak which fixes the helmet issues being out place. Big thanks to the devs for fixing the issue of them not showing up.
Yeah It's not that unfortunately. It has to do with the actual modding SDK, and I have been having trouble updating mine currently, but even if I do, I am unsure if that will be what is needed to fix the mod.
I will be posting here with any updates. Once again, sorry for inconvenience, modding work tends to get messy at times.
The mod author should fix the following setting in the mod and re-upload.
"Force Hide Head" should be set to "Covers Head" and NOT "Covers Head and Headgear"
Can it be solved?
Unfortunately, I can't make any fixes until the developer adds in the new models to the modding SDK. However they said it would be soon.
I apologize to everyone for the time being and I thank and love all the support and seeing the mod used in your missions. It means the world to me.
1. This mod doesn't add units, It adds equipment items and uniforms.
2. This mod only adds one faction, which is an Axis faction named COD3_German_Faction, It does not add an allied faction.
3. This mod does not add any missions
Regardless, I did attempt to recreate the issue you say you are having at least in an ability I could possibly translate to my mod.
As It stands, you can mix and match my COD3 faction with any other vanilla or modded factions on the same team without any crashing or issues.
As for the name labels, I really don't understand what you are referring to, every uniform and item has a unique name. None are labeled as Axis or allied.
Please check if you are referring to maybe another mod you are using because the issues you are having don't really correlate with this one.
If It is indeed this mod I will be happy to work with you further to try and resolve it. ^^
As of right now, there unfortunately is not a way to do that. :(
Once you've made a map in map editor you'll need to head to mission editor to create your mission and you'll find the units under "CoD3"
please - if it's possible, would it be possible to add CoD 5 WaW models for Russia and Germany maybe even Japan too? you seem like you really know your stuff so you might find a way
