Do you know if this compatible with agot?
Thank you for those corrections! I'm always interested in learning like that.
I actually thought that the first Japanese Emperor's father banged the sun, and I made a mistake in how I wrote it.
As for the Minoans, I know they actually existed, but I was referring to the eons in which it was thought (like Troy) to be made up, until (IIRC) its discovery in the nineteenth century.

I broadly agree with you. Just a few factual corrections.
The first Japanese Emperor was the Jimmu Emperor, who was said to be the great-great-great grandson of Ameterasu Oumikami, the kami of the Sun, via her son Ame no Oshishomimi no Mikoto, his son Ninigi no Mikoto - the one that came to Earth and thus the last one in this list who was never human - his son Hikohohodemi no Mikoto, and finally his son Hikonagisa Takeugaya Fukiazu no Mikoto - the Jimmu Emperor's father. The Jimmu Emperor never banged the Sun.

Extracted from paradox forums:
'25-35 years for tier 1, 50-70 years for tier 2, and 75-100 years for tier 3'.
They've improved the numbers, however for tier 2 and 3 it still felt a bit short. Tier 3 last forever since it should be comparable to legends of Caesar, Alexander the Great, etc.
This got fixed, or at least improved in the recent update. It's up to you to decide if you still prefer this mod's changes over Paradox's.
@Pepega
It completely ruins immersion: we still talk about legends, myths, and stories such as Homer's Odyssey, Troy, Minoans, the Japanese Emperor's ancestor going to town with the sun, the Egyptian pharaohs being literal gods, King Arthur, George Washington's cherry tree, and even knights slaying dragons to this day. Even the ones we have confirmed as fake (e.g. Washington) are as fun as the ones we confirmed as real (Troy and Minoans).
I hate the Dynasty Legacies, but at least everyone in the game is guaranteed to get them if they survive long enough.
LEGENDS ARE DIFFERENT. THEY ARE LEGENDARY .
I was promised LEGENDS NEVER DIE . I was not promised "legends catch on and become a meme for a few generations but they die off". If we still know the name of the first Japanese Emperor because he supposedly banged the sun, we should know my ruler's feats.
It is historically inaccurate and totally ruins immersion for people to forget something as cool as "oh, it says here I'm descended from pharaohs despite having never left Scotland".
"Who?"
"Arthur Pendragon, the great-"
"Was he a fierce poet or something? Who's your father anyway?"
"..."
That's gay. It should be freaking permanent.
