You can use A Spouse Designer for 1.13.2.*+ and CopyDNA for edit your heir. It's working in 1.14

first of all: this is perhaps one of the best mods on the workshop, it allows me to go into the nitty gritty of adjusting characters even more so than the ruler creator ever could!

that said...I am quite curious about something, that something being if it would at all be possible to essentially have a mini "character creator" editor system for other characters? like say "I don't like how lumpy and weird my heir looks, welp, better start from scratch!" or something like that

again sorry, I assume there is a very good reason thats not a thing (presumably thanks to paradox "wonderful" code) but I thought I'd ask about it

I encountered a problem after updating the mod: for some reason, the tab window is much larger than in your screenshots and covers half of the space in the barbershop. As a result, when I try to use various options - like switching to DNA - I can’t click on that tab. Due to this issue, I can’t even change the characters' clothes because nothing is clickable. The window is too large, and the mouse cursor constantly interacts with the character for moving them, while half of the functionality is unusable. Simply put, only the left half of the tabs and functions in the barbershop work, while the right side cannot be clicked at all - the computer mouse activates character movement instead of selecting those functions. I tried changing the interface size, but it didn’t help; only half of the barbershop window still works.

@Orkazo we can copy DNA between characters, I have buttons for that, not paste the text DNA

You might want to take a look at POD's code for one, it somehow manages to overwrite some character's DNA with another's using certain discipline abilities.

sadly, there is no functionality for pasting the DNA mid-game @Saroodai @AurianaValoria1

Yeah if you can finish that paste function it'd be grand, being able to change genes on runtime is such a timesaver.

One thing I wish after this amazing update of yours.. ability to past DNA from outside like CKtender in reddit..

@RCO1214, Better Barbershop works just fine with AGOT. There's just no color picker in AGOT (for the moment, anyway).

Correction, will I need to remove the Better Barbershop completely from any AGOT save?

Sorry for semi repeating question, but would the update to the main mod be compatible with a AGOT and AGOT + Save, or will I need to wait for a compatch?

Can you also make it possible to paste DNA from outside the current game, like in the initial Ruler Designer?

I've added an option to copy body changes and to inherit them.
Also cleaned up localization.

If you don't report any major issues in the next hour, I'll update the main mod

FYI for any CBO users, csirke128 updated the Better Barbershop Beta CBO patch last night.

@AlphaFrench I'll be honest, I don't think I can do it. I don't know a thing about shaders. I've tried to merge the changes between the files today, I simply ended up with invisible characters.

@Hex: Gin & Tonic can you share the savefile? And maybe pin those emerald characters?

@Agami, I have used this and the colour picker, but some characters/rulers in the game appear to have an emerald like hue completely over them. Any ideas why this could be? <3

@AlphaFrench it will not work for AGOT, it would require a complicated compatch, because they have their own shaders

I play with the AGOT mod I don't have the color selection for clothes is it normal?

First Thank you so much for the mod.
I'm using your mod on a game, and it was working perfectly until this update, i'm using C.B.O and the C.B.O - Barbershop patch both from LoversLab. The barbershop screen still opens and most options are there, but the body Editing section is mostly blank other than the box to toggle naked*. Any idea what could be causing that after the update?

I've also cleaned up the body menu and added the height ruler.
You can also move all characters now by clicking on empty space around them.
The menu on the left is now on top of characters, I was tired of moving them around.
And I've fixed the zoom, it's not going to jump when first opening the barbershop.

quick question, in your experience, have there been issues with body changes?

there was a report on the main mod that all characters look as if their values are forced to zero, as in, no fat, no muscles.
I cannot replicate it, it shouldn't be possible. Have you see something like that?

Also, as far as I can tell, baldness and hair type don't change anything, correct?

I hope it gets even better and more popular amongst the other mods. It's the version I always dreamed of for "better barbershop" mod. Can't believe its finally real.

this patch killed the support for the clothes color picker we had before. If it's possible to reenable it, we haven't found how.

I cant seem to zoo m in on characters, the portrait dissapears if i try to zoom into the face. The traits dont seem to apply on the faces either

Was the color picker basegame barbershop? That was literally the most valuable part of changing out outfits. Can't believe they left the hair color picker in and ditched the clothing one. Hopefully some brilliant modder with slap together a mod to resurrect it.
