@warfox23 @Aeternity8678 My apologies, the newest Rivals of Aether patch caused a different logic to be used for sprites to be loaded in and caused placeholder sprites left in files to be loaded in for many characters. The elephant graphic came from a template character I use for my mods.

It has been fixed on this mod, although I'd like to just reiterate that if you see Sandbert or Tester stickman assets on any other characters in the coming days, it's likely not the mod's dev's fault, but rather due to the newest patch. Have a great day!

Hello, I would like to report that there is a texture error that occurs when using the "Crystal Heart", I don't know if they can still fix this error, I love the pixel art design of the character but this bug bothers me :C

While this character is good for the most part, I feel like his mechanic could be tweaked a little. So his spells are "extremely good, but are put on a leash by the cooldown". While I agree his enhanced spells are really good, I disagree that a three second cooldown is enough to balance their use. This character is very visibly a rushdown style glass cannon with little reliance on their spells, so they may not even need to use another spell within the span of three seconds. I think that either the cooldown should be increased to perhaps around 10 seconds or that there shouldn't be a cooldown at all and instead a different mechanic could take it's place.
The other thing I suggest is lowering the height of his charged down special. It's a very strong move as is, so the unnecessarily large hitbox is a little too much. It probably shouldn't reach top platforms from the ground is all I want to say.

idk if this is a bug or part of the new update, but i think the 30 frame cool-down for neutral B gets applied to not just that input, but for all of the attacks like basics and specials.. along with taunting i think? like i press down tilt and the move takes more time than normal to activate and not like how it felt earlier.. again i think the game thinks that the cool-down for neutral B is every attack and not just only NB like what i think is supposed to happen.. also the 30 frame timer resets every time you input an attack, that too..

sorry for bugging again but i just really like playing this character lol, im happy to do a bug report for them anytime :)

probably a bug, but the recent update made the shade version of neutral B have a small hurtbox near the bottom left corner of the attack that lasts for 6 frames when the projectile spawns.. hope this 2nd bug report of mine helps :)

@ThatOneGuy123 You need to press down on your control stick/keyboard (like you would for a dtilt or dspecial) and then press taunt (since if you have taunt on the dpad it doesn't read the different dpad directions, the game sees them all as one input)

Yes, that's because the Life Orb buddy deals self-damage every time you spawn a hitbox, and Descending Dark is a multi-hit constantly spawning new hitboxes.
It isn't really achievable for me to account for all ways other mods try to alter this character, so just consider it a quirk of those Pokemon item mods.

he seems to have a bug where he takes upwards of 120% when doing some attacks, not sure which specifically but ive been playing against the cpu and sometimes he'll suddenly start taking % every frame. gonna test it some

this has actually become one of my favorite workshop mods in recent memory, super good stuff! super fun, feels like a genuine translation of the knight's kit in the source material, but with enough tweaks to keep it feeling at home in rivals. dream nail compat was also an excellent touch, i anticipate that'll become pretty popular

This is an amazing character, but I may or may not have encountered something that I could only call a glitch.

I was using my controller and, as the description of the mod says, I hit down taunt to use dream nail. Down taunt usually does nothing (usually doesn't even taunt, and everyone knows that), and I guess it just refused to pull out the dream nail? Idk if I'm doing something wrong and I'm just not too smart, or if it's a glitch. I use the D-pad for taunts so maybe that's the problem?

I think the empowered N-special should also beat out weaker projectiles. Right now it clashes against weak spam projectiles that don't even flinch.

Overall fun with great art and good animations, but his run speed is atrocious. I feel like Krag is faster than him and it's not like the Knight has any crazy good wavedash properties to offset that either.

Would really love some upgrades to the mechanic.
-Make back air slower but it can refresh the shade
-Dreamnail should also refresh.
-Maybe give fair and utilt tipper refresh too since those are new and worse than his moves in the game.
Would also appreciate if you can give him a form of stage control maybe with grounded Down B as a summon or a dreamgate to teleport to

amazing mod and the only knight mods that feels like the character the only problem is he is a little small and hard to hit and 2 his up tilt feels a little strange beyond that 10/10 mod

i don't know if this is a mistake or not but the new update now makes Nair and Uair send you up on hit with no cool down.. the recent update was very vague when saying "aerial's" so idk if that just meant Dair but im still mentioning it here just in case it was a mistake.. (also in some cases Uair can chain into itself and drag the other fighter into the upper blast zone.. aka the move is now basically brawl Meta knight Uair)

these changes break the combo game in my opinion..
