@Zack

The Low Poly mod is a brute force option to lower quality for frames, while this is a more subtle option where quality drops with distance as it should.

Answer : Probably, since they likely affect the same files. Load order matters, and if you want visual fidelity, you'd prefer this over the Low Poly mod. I'm looking into further improving this mod either way.

You'd be right... except that it's inconsistent and not applied to -all- zombies, nor is it consistent across the ones it is applied to (different LOD ranges, different polygon count minimums).

National Guards have no LOD whatsoever, and have the highest triangle count of all zombies that spawn, so where the absolute lowest models may have been lost, running a consistency pass for all undead actually presents us with up to a 60% difference in what's rendered, best case scenario.

If the LOD from base game was consistent and as good as possible, this mod wouldn't need to exist, as it'd undercut what I've done here by a pretty decent margin. On the plus side, the zombies look a little better over range than default.

I'm also looking at making the bone collapsing consistent and properly scale for each model, but that'll take a bit of reading and time to balance and see.
