Patrick Vieira if you are in a council yes it affects, and you can per example put your heir in a position to improve his skills.

Updated the mod, now it supports all others languages (That Ck3 Supports), if you found any error in the translation, please let me know about it. And i improve a little the time do gain the trait xp, it shoud not take more than 20 years and no less than 10 years to maximize a trait.

There's a bug, every time my experience as a councillor increases and I get a notification, there's also a pop-up, just for a mini-second, because there's been a toast, which then disappears immediately.

Dang it Mat, I was rollling with an army of military experts yesterday, the literal 40k Primarchs, and today's 'fix' knocks them down to some low-tier trench rats.

My immersion is broken and my day is ruined.

It would be cool to see only half the bonus applied when they aren't in their respective council position to make councilor player abuse (where you switch a character to each one to max out their spread) so they aren't as powerful when they aren't in a good position to use their experience.

My brother, amazing mod, but you might have messed up the code for the Martial Councillor, right now the last level gives 44 martial, so unless you mean for everyone to become Alexander The Great I presume that is an error.

easteregg42, yes is random. The character only need to be in the council, and it will gain the xp randomly. Every time is gains xp, is can be a value between four and ten.

The experience gain is totaly random, right? It's not effected by councillors fullfilling tasks versus doing passive things?!

@Mateus, You are right, compatible is crucial, but still use councillor_on_actions can also avoid overriding the vanilla files (as long as we don't take those tasks success or not into consideration). Just add random add_trait_xp effects when the task is processing and it prevents from one wierd situation that one becomes councilor in the last few days of the year and suddenly gets trait_xp.

Kenshin, i didnt use councillor_on_actions for one motive, it reduce the compatibility, if i use then, any mod that add a new coucillor action or change then will not work with mod, i know that it turn my mod a little "random" because of the pulse, but the main thing here is to be compatible. And in any way it will be random, because in the add_trait_xp i use a random value from 4 to 10. So some will learn faster, and others will take much more time.

Instead of working with random_yearly_pulse i personally recommend you to use the councillor_on_actions and add_trait_xp when the councillor tasks are processing.

I think the mecha is too simple currently. It doesn't care about how long they have worked in councilor positions and how well they have done, just random and lucky one got full experienced quickly. However, still great attempt, appreciated.

Really cool implementation

Perhaps to make the bonuses more thematic, instead of the +prestige bonus they could provide thematic bonuses for themselves @lvl 2 and 4?

i.e.
Steward - 2.5% extra income / 5% extra income
Martial - 5% army dmg / 10% army dmg
Spymaster - +5 Scheme POWER (so many % modifiers to improve success, nice to have some that move the needle per say) / +10 Scheme Power
Chancellor - +5 General Opinion / +10 General Opinion
Chaplain - +5 Clergy Opinion and 5% ALL lifestyle xp / +10 Clergy Opinion and 10% ALL lifestyle xp

Look forward to opening up the mod files tomorrow and seeing how you do things. Have done that for a few of your mods as I've just moved beyond basic trait modifications/additions and have found them very informative so far!
