Hey, this mod has a couple issues with english localization:

- If you try to go without a surname, the game will slap "Xen" on you and let you go.

- It also seems to have messed up levels like "pretty" in character creation, and leaving that section entirely blank. "Ethereal" and "Heavenly" still exist, though.

can i remove this mod midgame if I have not selected any Overlord related destiny? OR at least could you add an option to disable to Overlords Blessing? It just kills the early game fun for me :( Thanks

@CHG Yeah it's definitely due to int overflow, which (annoyingly enough) I just can't seem to fix. I have found many functions that may allegedly be related to damage calculations, but indeed none that respect my code which should dictate integer overflow.

@CyFire Hey man! Just wanted to say that I got one of my saves ruined today. :( Same issue as I wrote about in the 1.5.0 notes thread, but this time not due to the nameless overlord. But it seems to be linked to damage overspill like you said as it happened when I got some buff to damage. I'm taking a break from the game as I've lost a few playthroughs now, hopefully it's better later. And as before, apart from my issues, I love the mod! :D

@CHG Hey, I just finished adding the version 1.5.0 notes which mainly describes the mod-changes, with some mention to the note-worthy patches. The "credits and patches" list has also been updated (last night) with all the changes.

This superficial main Steam Workshop page 'has' been updated, but might likewise take Steam a couple of days to verify/release.:PetFinn:

Major update v1.5.0!!
This mod has got 2 mod dependencies now, check the right-hand side interface of this Steam page for "REQUIRED ITEMS".

@fdream I don't think I've look at changing loyalty limit yet, though I from vague memories it might be a general parameter shared between all sects.

The battle ending and transition to Tian Yuan mountain itself was intentionally done that way though. If everything goes as it should, you could use the portal to exit and get the usual Xingtian victory dialogue with those Drama NPCs.

As for the uncloseable/unprogressable dialogue bug: I couldn't reproduce it. If you think you can give more details about the bug, you could start a new discussion thread on this mod's page and include stuff like.... Video to showcase the exact bug, a MelonLoader error message or maybe your mod load order etc... That way I might have a slightly better idea to what could've caused the issue.

Hello! 2nd phase of xingtian will break with this mod as the dialogue will cause the battle to end and put you in tian yuan with an uncloseable/unprogressable dialogue. Sometimes it will let you wander around tian yuan but everything becomes uninterctable and if you open any menu you cannot close it anymore

Thanks a lot for commenting about the issue guys!

The game should no longer crash if Overlord's Soul isn't selected during character creation! (Though I'm not familiar with how long it takes for Steam to push out Workshop updates to the public, so it might take some time)

@ShinUon some days ago i created a character with only one overlord destiny, now i can only create a world with both, i created a world without it and added it later, but the blessed NPCs are unstopable

Thanks, didn't expect it would break game generation if both weren't selected. I didn't want to use Overlord's Soul since that is beyond OP and would trivialize everything.

Are there alternatives to this? I used to use Cheat Menu but that was removed from the workshop.

I'm trying to start a new game with this mod, but when this mod is enabled it gets stuck at world generation.

Does this mod need a special load order placement? I tested with it at the very top and very end and still have the same issue.

Yeah... I had thought about the idea of creating two copies of Overlord's Soul (one per faction) and two Overlords to go along with it, but lazied away from the idea :steambored: , cause the ID management.

That said though: I've literally (finally just now) realized how the so-called MID ID-prefix work in Excel files, which could have made things slightly less chaotic. But at the same time I've also finally began looking at the coding part of this game's mod framework.

No real promises that I'm going to breakthrough and once again make massive upgrades to this mod, (cause it's finally starting to burn me out a bit), but yea~ Maybe xD

I just made a new release with tons of changes (with hopefully not tons of bugs) , which you guys can check out in the v1.4.0 discussion thread.

I've personally not experienced unkillable opponents due to Overlord's Blessing, I did however (once) experience a sparring battle with my added in-game spouse where she was unkillable, so maybe it's related to one of my added NPCs?

Having a feature to in-game change my sect's faction is indeed one of the things that I want to accomplish in the far-future. (Though I'm honestly not sure how much longer I'd remain interested to keep modding)

@Cookie I am going to restart my saves anyway, I'm gonna check out the curse thing as that should make it easier not harder. You having to run away from that battle sounds wrong.

And now I know what you mean with factions, and I know what you mean. I have a personal mod divided into two that's either for being righteous or demonic. And even though this mod seems too have gotten open source I wouldn't know what to change in the Excel files, I've personally only modded with the in-game tools. But maybe a modded Nature destiny that gives ridiculous amounts of righteous points could help.

And then finally there are mods linked on here that makes any sect you join have access to the Elder Dragon Aura stuff, then joining a righteous sect could be a soliution too maybe.

@CHG Nah. I actually only had the Unkillable opponent issue when I was asked to help that female cultivator who was being harassed by that guy. All my sect fights were fine it's just that one guy was the only one I ran into who actually got the curse debuff so far. As for factions, I meant the Righteous/Demonic. I don't really have an issue being demonic, it's just my aesthetic choice to be righteous.

I don't have the problems you guys talk about, maybe because I have no time for the grind and have no patience as a person. I.e I have the same if not more ridiculous stats than the sect members with the blessing so I'm ironically having more fun in sect duels now as fights take 10 seconds instead of 0.5.

@Cookie: Do you mean the blessing? The curse is supposed to lower others stats if you as a player fullfill the conditions. And by the factions of the sect, do you mean the branches? If you do, I suppose the blessing and the curse doesn't cancel out when facing branch members, is that it?

I tested what I wrote in the Discussions, the problem was indeed a lack of MelonLoader. Activating the Beta Unicode UTF-8 option in Windows and verifying the game files to reobtain version.dll solved the Greenscale Spring(Dragon Fountain) problem with he other mod.

I wonder how much functionality in the mods I use I've missed due to this, lol.

Yeah the backup disciple cheat is indeed malfunctioning for some reason. It used to have worked in the past, so I'm currently just as clueless as to what had happened.

The Dragon Fountain does work for me. I'm not sure if mod order matters in this game, but I always set my own mod at the very bottom. Higher priority stuff like Addk1k's many mods are higher on top for me, maybe that'll help. But if that doesn't work, then I don't really know what else could be wrong.

I tried what you said, and I get no Dragon Fountain anywhere whatsoever. So somethings going on there.

Oh and I've tested your cheat menu and it seems add backup disciples doesn't work, just a heads up. Nice mod by the way. :)

Oh thanks,that's a good question! My mod description was indeed not that great..

If you choose Overlord's Soul as Nature Destiny instead of Elder Dragon Aura, you'll get Overlords and no Dragon Hamlet Mountain. <i>(If you choose both Overlord's Soul and Elder Dragon Aura, I think Dragon Hamlet Mountain takes priority, but I'm not 100% sure about it)</>

My mod setup:
I'd strongly recommend the mod 【Addk1k】宗门化龙池 , which adds the Dragon building into every sect. Additionally you could use an additional cheat to add the Elder Dragon Aura, after your world's been generated with Overlords as sect. If you play it that way, then using Addk1k's mod will let you get the questline on top of already having the full Dragon system pre-unlocked in any sect building.

When you say that Overlords sect replaces Dragon Hamlet Mountain, does that mean that the Overlords has the Dragon Fountain and Elder Dragon Aura questline?

Or if I choose the Elder Dragon Aura as a Destiny in the beginning, does it remove the questline, fountain and the old man NPC?

For some reason, the public description of my mod is still stuck at the release version when I'm checking from a browser without logging in. So suffice to say, the so-called automatic system has lagged behind (probably) over 10+ description changes. Which is funny when the first-ever-made change is finally online, there will be 9+ description changes still pending. Maybe next year...
