Yes I plan to try to get them to be able to exist alongside the 8 vanilla survivors, like a 9th or 10th survivor, like Mike from Cold front custom campaign
kukuhorny  [author] 30 Jul @ 1:44pm
they're already ported to all characters. or did you want to make other edits?
kukuhorny  [author] 30 Jul @ 1:44pm
wait what? didn't you see the links in the description for each mod?

Many thanks!

Hello, may I ask if I'm allowed to make some tiny edits for dina and ellie? To be able to replace any survivor, Credits all go to you and others involved of course

" I also wish to make Seattle Dina tho"
This would be my dream though. I've always wanted a Dina mod with the backpack on it I hope you get around to making it one day

MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED OMG
kukuhorny  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:38am
uh no, just editing the mesh with tools provided, it doesn't involve bones
Pluvillion 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:36am
I considering sculpting as "moving tiniest bones at the same time" if that makes any sense?
kukuhorny  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:33am
yeah. same for sculpting tho. it gets more realistic with time, especially if you do it with references
Pluvillion 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:31am
That's what I did. Unfortunately our faces move in a very complex manner so if I do want to pose a face, it'll take a long while to realistically pose them in a certain manner. I'll definitely keep in mind sculpting
kukuhorny  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:30am
go for it, it's an amazing skill! but if you're talking about small edits on your posters then it's no big deal, you just play around with it and get something
kukuhorny  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:28am
you can try making face bones smaller if they are blocking your view
Pluvillion 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:28am
But I'm still eager to learn sculpting regardless as I'm also a sucker for when a model touches something and there's barely to no clipping at all (especially if two hands are touching). I'd love to sculpt clothing and the likes when posing someone on a rather soft surface
kukuhorny  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:28am
nah, FaceApp smiles are all the same and easily recognisable
Pluvillion 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:27am
Sadly, I'm only used to facial flexes (sliders) from my MMD and SFM experience. I even had a — rather stupid — idea of using FaceApp just to make them smile 😭
kukuhorny  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:15am
that's one of reasons for not using bones D:
Pluvillion 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:13am
And here I am opening Male V's model on Blender and staring at his model in horror as someone who values facial expressions when doing renders. Respect
kukuhorny  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:09am
it's much more handy tbh, especially when you have to mess up the face geometry and the said bones don't do the same deformations anymore
kukuhorny  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:08am
oh, I don't use the bones actually, I sculpt the expressions out myself
Pluvillion 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:07am
Weapons magically holstered to the back... a goofy thing to see, but almost every game does it to the point where it looks natural even if it doesn't make any sense.

As for the facials, L4D's facials are still impressive for their time, and it's amazing how you can recreate what's originally hundreds of bones into a cohesive expression. I can only guess these models' faces are basically unnoticeable when opening them in Blender because of the amount of bones they have
kukuhorny  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:03am
lol well same goes for the weapons on her back too. no, I only got the official facials for Ellie, they were the only working ones when exporting from TLOU (my friend's words). but I tried to recreate the others as close as possible to the game. don't forget it's L4D after all, it can't be too similar to TLOU!
Pluvillion 14 Mar, 2024 @ 3:01am
The pistol being glued to her thigh looks funny, but I'm impressed at how you're able to rework the same mod. I assume you got her facials in the similar fashion as you did for Ellie?

Also huge yes to Seattle Dina! I'm a sucker for character mods with backpacks.
kukuhorny  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 2:03am
her belly will jiggle-jiggle just like spitter's
Spicy_Jam 14 Mar, 2024 @ 1:42am
Huh, so that's where the casual Rochelle body came from
Meraru 14 Mar, 2024 @ 1:40am
now we just need pregnant mel as spitter and we have the whole squad <3
kukuhorny  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 12:25am
our girls can slay together now
Meraru 14 Mar, 2024 @ 12:24am
