This is a very heavy and technical mod, virtually held together with duct tape.
For the best results, you should either host your own local games or join local servers running this mod. I can't guarantee it'll work properly on official servers, since it relies on a lot of client-side mumbo jumbo and LOTS of sound scripting, so even small stuff like car alarm mods will probably break this.
If you're still having issues, let us know in the pinned discussion thread.
Rest assured, we are working on a L4D1 counterpart! We have a lot of stuff for it already but not enough to warrant a public release just yet. We're also hoping to continuing updating this mod too and add additional content (obviously!).
Stay tuned!
For some reason the finale start and tank music no longer play for me, it's not a mod issue it's a game issue.
doesnt really work in official servers even after doing that fix thing
By too many sounds playing at once do you mean songs overlapping or fps dips or what? Id love to know
Ah dont worry I understood. Just happy to see the first part released! Hoping you can all finish the L4D1 part too. I already miss the Dead Air exit song... x-x
