I tried to stay close to the design while keeping the scale the same as in the cliff area you enter it in. The height is still probably inaccurate because I needed to keep it within source map bounds, but the width should be the same as I copied and pasted the base geometry from d3_citadel_01. Cool insight though.

Nah, the Citadel just looks unrealistically small in the chapter you enter it in. They mapped it way too small on the exterior. Judging by distant views of it through the skybox and whatnot, it looks much more massive. More than capable of containing an area of the size we see in Half-Life 2.

Think about the Citadel in Half-Life: Alyx. HL:A is a prequel taking place between HL1 and HL2, and the Citadel during the midst of construction is VERY visible throughout different parts of the game, so by bringing the Citadel somewhat to true scale through VR, you can easily deduce that the Citadel is fucking gigantic.
