It does not crash in the stable version.

so im unsure if im doing something wrong or what, but the ships that spawn have the appearance of little boxes instead of actual ships.also the fallen empire shipset is counted as biological?

I tested it on my pc, and it worked. Just take the "Awakening of the Ancients" Ascension Perk, wait for 150-200 days, and you will awaken.

oh yeah the command works but you need command to awaken as hivemind otherwise it dosent show i can awaken via perks

There should be an ascension perk, "Awakening of the Ancients".
Or just go to console and type, "activate_ascension_perk ap_tw_white".

What are you playing as?
Machine FE, Hive FE or Standard FE?
All 3 have different Ascension Perks for Awakening. But you should be able to awaken.

The homeworld will be a ringworld only. No matter, what system_initialiser you are taking, the homeworld will be a ringworld till you play as a Fallen Empire.

no what i ment was no matter what i picked as my homeworld earth any of the FE ones the homeworld was repalced by a single Ringworld segment

Buildings are not there because vanilla Stellaris has broken ringworlds in v4.0.*. And, I am getting used to zones/buildings/districts in the new version, so until things are stable, you will have to wait for some time.

The setup complete notification has been added now for non-hivemind FE.

The ringworld will be your homeworld, because I have designed it to be so.

Most of the other planets have no buildings not even a captial one but the hivemind one works fine so something to do with the normal ones is borked

I forgot to mention that I'm currently an awakened empire & and from what I've seen on your previous comments I should be able to make new designs. But its not that I'm not able to make new designs, I also don't have the base game fallen empire designs accessible either, only just the colossus and corvette. I think it has something to do with the graphical culture modifications the mod makes since I am currently using the cybernetic graphical culture and maybe the mod is overwriting them?

Also about your suggestions, both of those mods (Fallen Empires Stronger, Awakened Fallen Empires Stronger) explicitly state not to use this mod in conjunction with them so idk about that.

You are playing as a Fallen Empire. Fallen Empires don't get new ship designs.

If are willing to create new ship designs, and willing to lose FE tier ship designs, go and visit my other mods, and install "Fallen Empires Stronger" and "Awakened Fallen Empires Stronger" and place them bottom on your modlist. That will allow you to create new ship designs.

You've probably gotten this a lot, but something in your mod is preventing me from creating new ship designs. The only mod I know & have that changes ship files is NSC and I have that turned off and yet I still encounter this problem. Any help?

Well, I am thinking of putting an option to players who don't want to play with any kind of debuff and another option for those who kinda of wanna do.

Currently, in this version, if the Player is not able to awaken himself before endgame, then before endgame approaches, they get 5-6 ascension perks (so that they can awaken using those APs).

Also, since Hive Mind FEs are also coming, I may have to flesh out the mod a bit more.

Piracy immunity is interesting. I don't think an FE should be immune, but perhaps just a reduced chance? I wonder what that change was that you mention. I've tried my hand at Stellaris modding and it is difficult, so I appreciate the work you're doing :)

I wouldn't remove the debuffs either- an FE should have a good amount of trouble reawakening but it shouldn't feel impossible (at least that's how it feels to me). Just a reduction in how bad those debuffs are may be the way forward, just to take the pressure off a little.

Yep, I do think the buffs are too much.

One or two versions ago, the FE's had permanent immunity towards piracy, empire splitting off etc. But now something changed, and I can't figure out how. I will reduce/remove the debuffs as the next update (Stellaris 4.0) rolls out.

Regarding compatibility, I haven't notice anything significant. I don't know what the load order with ZOFE is supposed to be but I do have this mod and the patch following ZOFE:

The initial debuffs received as a fallen empire make it exceedingly difficult to progress at all and climb back to ascension. These early debuffs often seem to result in colonies splitting away from the main empire. The debuffs, if any should even be applied, should be less than half of what they are now. The incredibly expensive production costs and lack of unity and other resources often lead to unrecoverable scenarios with piracy, crime, deviancy, instability, and ultimately failure.

I would like to see some reductions to the debuffs to make the early game a bit more realistic. This is a fallen empire that is trying to reawaken, not some civilization on the edge of apocalypse.

Other things I've seen: Many early technologies can still be researched. Spelling/grammatical errors.
