Yeah it surfaced a few months back. My girlfriend who had been a huge fan of Renard for years was devastated upon hearing, and swore off their music. I'll spare the details, but the victim came out with a post describing his manipulative and forceful actions during their "relationship".

Renard still makes a lot of music, but had not made any music under the Mayhem label between 2011 and August 2014, when he released a three-track EP under the Mayhem alias.
