Technicaly , the two mods do the same things, but your is for bed and chair, and the other is for stand and sit on the ground. My question was more about if I can use both mod without conflict

@ᛗᚨᚾᛞᚨᛚᛟᚱᛖ I am not sure what you mean by "compatible" as they are different actions. My Sit and Rest mod just combines the timed actions for the vanilla rest menu and sit menu. The vanilla rest menu requires a chair or bed to rest on, so it only works with a chair or bed. The mod you referenced is just for sitting on the ground without a chair, so it is a different action. I don't think my mod would interfere with it, but if you have any issues please let me know.

@Leonidax1 It works for me on MP (local host, but that should not matter). Can you elaborate on "not working"? Note that the menu option will only appear if you need to Rest (ie: have some level of exhaustion) and the chair/bed is a valid chair/bed.

not working on vanilla chairs in Multiplater

@Jasmͥinͣaͫ II The option to "Sit and Rest" will appear in the same instances where the vanilla "Rest" option appears (ie: right-cilcking on a chair or bed). This mod does not add the ability to "Rest" on the ground, so you still need a chair or bed. Without more information I don't know what other advice to give.

This mod doesn't work. No option to sit and rest for me.

@real I have been looking into the True Actions mod code, and it is "doable" butI will have to find some time to do it. IRL is quite busy right now, but it is on my list.

can you do this with true actions? sitting mod

I can confirm that for me at least the mode dose not work I don't see a sit and rest option and when I press the sit key on the mode Fast Keys it just sits on the ground and no rest bar is shown just the normal fill for endurance. It might be the Fast Keys mode that is interfering. Just to let you know if you want to fix that or at least let everyone else that use the Fast Keys know It might conflict.

@Jaxmk1 - I don't have a hotkey assignment for it. Since the Rest action requires the mouse to be over a chair or bed for context (otherwise the vanilla Rest option is not available) I could not think of a way for a hotkey to make sense for Sit and Rest.

Will it work with Fast Keys?
I have the sit function set on a key, any idea if I just press that key will do both sit and rest actions?
RicksMLC  [author] 22 Mar, 2024 @ 2:52pm
@Vancho You are correct in that when you Sit the system does call the rest function to reduce fatigue. When you select Rest, the timed action ISRestAction calls the same rest function. The result is the same rest function is called twice on each Update. In short and in true PZ fashion, you rest twice as fast.

I thought that when you sat, it was implied that you were also doing the "rest" action, except it wasn't showing you the "rest" loading bar. So are those two actions completely different from each other, after all?
