@ZestySalsa Is this mod compatible with Total War Pharaoh Dynasties ? If not, could you make a version of this mod for Dynasties please ?

Conclusion?

On the other hand, I set the value "X" as you advised me, in a siege battle with 20 units against 20 units, the bloodstains on the ground are no longer displayed.
Isn't it better to put a value like 360.00 to avoid the hardcoding problem as you say?

i'm going to guess footprints_main.technique and footprints2_main.technique are responsible for the normal and blood footprints

as for blood decal lifetime i think it's already meant to be infinite and goes away when 1 of 2 conditions are met: too many decals in the level, or 2 or more of the same decal overlap on the z-axis, as soon as a condition is met then the vfx uses the lifetime property to tick down until the model disappears

the footprint blood isn't controlled by any of the vfx files so i can't speak to them. the footprints and skids are controlled by shaders so i can't edit them. i'll look at the files a bit more

I just tried, the bloody footprints disappear in 30 seconds :/

No. Decal lifetime has not been changed, no texture resolutions have been changed, blood models spawn frequency has not been changed. I leveraged the existing space on the textures themselves by adding more granular detail. In theory 2 fps max, in practice, I don't notice any
