I don't care for the plate/wood texture being like that, they should be unified for either team. I love the colors and the overall look though. Very fitting for say an assassin grade I would think.

I like the palette, but I think a bit more work could be done on the specular details.

just darken the colors and make RED more red, then it's fine by me.

feels a bit too bright and saturated, especially against the map backgrounds. Maybe make it stand out a little less

this is valves fault for forcing us to pay money and to use a war paint base. hat and taunt creators get custom made, gorgeuous uis, in depth guides, and a workshop faq. we get basic zip file support

lol, as soon as I went back to my other war paint to look at the differences I found the issue. Appreciate it tho. And yeah, the price point of a winterland wrapped was a bit of a pain, but too late now.

btw, warborn has the same mapping as winterland wrapped but is considerably cheaper, just as an fyi

when you look at the vtf file in vtfedit, if it says 8 bit alpha, the alpha channel/phong mask/ layer mask works. if that checkmark isnt ticked, what you want to do is make the version you want with an alpha channel, save it as .tga file, then import

True, its an issue that has been persistent on this warpaint alone. I'm not sure if its from the original paint base, or if the importation method I used just happened to be incorrect.

It seems that the phong either doesn't exist or is just handled poorly.

yeah i see. i recently made a war paint and published it, and for the secondary brown texture, i tried all sorts of colors to make it look different from warborn, only to end up right back where i started. its still rly nice looking tho, congrats

Yeah, it'll be a little it tho. I also have inspect gifs but for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to upload gifs

pretty nice, my only recommendation would be to possibly add more contrast to the secondary team colored texture, but it looks great as is anyways
