This mod (nor the base Block's Thrower Mod) has no interactions with Rouge at all.
Thorium's Thrower is technically the same class as this mod's Thrower (both internally use a tML-provided Thrower damage class).
Each mod's content is fully independent of the other's, but you can still mix-and-match items freely.
That said, only Thorium items will use Exhaustion and Technique mechanics. Furthermore, though both are balanced around vanilla, they handle stat distribution differently (Thorium's armor sets grant way more Throwing damage than this mod's armors, for instance) which may result in overpowered or underpowered builds depending on how you combine gear and weapons for each mod.
The materials/tiers that each compatible mods allows access to is listed in the description and (in more detail) the Supported Mods Thread discussion.
I would know for sure since I don't play Fargo's mods, but I thought there was already stuff for thrower because of Thorium cross-mod? If that is the case, whatever thrower stats those items add would apply to this mod's Thrower since they're internally the same damage type.
I've been considering playing Masochist mode with this mod and i was wondering if there was any ideas for souls themed content.
This mod's balancing is far from perfect. This is the unfortunate trade-off of it being designed to be a 'one size fits all' cross-content mod; balancing itself is anything but 'one size fits all', especially since various mods handle their post-ML content VERY differently.
"Balancing w/ Fargo's is generally botched because I don't have many materials to work with and its scaling has considerable spikes (Namely Post-Mutant, particularly w/ Eternity). Nihilshade seemed like it'd be too strong to be post-Eridanius, and I didn't really have any other points to place gear between that and Mutant. Also, I will say that I don't personally play Fargo's, so I was making these judgments based on research via. its Wiki."
ive been trying to find a mod that expands thrower without changing the damage type from ranged
If you're referring to Thorium's Thrower class, yes, the two are compatible as both actually use the same Throwing Damage. That said, they are balanced a little differently, and this mod's Throwing gear doesn't support Thorium Technique Points or Exhaustion mechanics.
Concerning the sprites... have you not noticed how often I modify and recolor vanilla assets? That's mainly how I keep my sprites artstyle similar to vanilla. It's more obvious here because Nihilshade is in turn a modification & recolor of Void (An intentional design choice to mirror Supernova's style in the Artificer post-game add-on).
I'm no professional spriter and have never claimed to be. I really just emulate the vanilla sprite style and quality by using it as reference material.
Yes, the overall quality of this mods' sprites is below average compared to my others, but I still put time and effort into them and am personally satisfied with them for the purposes of this small-scale mod. If I wasn't satisfied, I wouldn't have released the mod until I was.
