ah okok tysm fr I truly appreciate that, I understand that it removes some "realism" of the mod and I do have a huge passion for games/mods that have or add realistic mechanics like project zomboid, but I really could not stand the fog so I really appreciate the future "fix":steamthumbsup:

most likely you were just unlucky, it's a coincidence. In the next update there will be an option to turn off the visual effects of the weather (but they will still debuff units)

hello, going back with @EM7HydraFox yeah the fog is really anoying, is there a way to at least reduce it? there was a time that the fog did not go out at all for the entire match and the fog lastes 34 minutes maybe more, I was on a match with my friend and even thought the match was no where near over we decided to end it because the fog was extremely anoying and just would never clear probably the last time we'll play this mod unless theres a way to fix that (decrease the fog)

3 new units for the allied doctrine are planned, they are already on the list and are being worked on. I am not going to add new ones to other doctrines.

now on too the allied doctrine, i though it lacked allied vehicles so a new one would be based off the 1921 anti tank model, but instead of having a single gun, it has a volley gun layout that uses 4 light machine guns to mow down infantry. its upgrade options are to either replace them with 3 heavy machine guns for infantry, or 3 auto cannons for vehicles and fortifications. now for the latest faction an idea for a heavy tank. it could possibly be a literal land battleship, able to travel land and sea, taking inspiration from metal slugs big shee. it wouldn't be very fast and its armament would focus on saturation fire rather than really big guns. i know it seems like im just complaining about this update but i love the new flame thrower tank. the reason i pitch ideas is because i think your mod is awesome and would love too contribute in some way.

the new update came out and i love the scorched earth doctrine. though if your looking for ideas i would love too share some not only for that doctrine, but the allied one and the latest faction if you'd like too hear it. the first idea is that for the scorched earth doctrine, the AA flak gun is replaced with a 120 mm mortar to further emphasize its dedication too destruction. the emplacement could even get two new upgrades two chose from, a multi-mortar for infantry that would have slightly less range and longer reload speed, and a 160mm mortar that has a longer reload time and range. to balance this the machine gun emplacement and upgrade can only be upgraded to the dual machine gun.

Is there a way to disable the fog that comes sometime during a match? This fog is not only an eye sore and extremely disruptive but also lasts way too long.

Thanks dude. The original VG wasn't that bad when it came out, but the concept is completely outdated at this point. Honestly, I'd love to see the old formula remaster (I even came up with a name: Virsenian Glory Arcade (VGA)) but unfortunately there are no people willing to do that. The old VG mod is a much larger scale battles than VGR, it would be possible to implement a fleet of any size without worrying about the problems that would arise in VGR...

Still the best mod.
Never have I ever been able to use my knowledge in WW1-WW2 warfare in a game so well. lol
I've dumped more hours into this mod than Rusted itself, and any other mod.
I've even been mixing this mod with others, or vanilla warfare for unique battles. lol

Just tried to express how awesome I have found this ever since I played it.
Original was cool, but doesn't hold a candle to the complexity of this remake.

How do you to get access to the 'behemoths'? (the unique big tanks) that every faction has? I saw a mention that you have to play on the commander mode but what is the condition to summon them?

Another important update concerns to mines. Now the t1 mine is captured as a point (as it is done in Company of Heroes), that is, you need infantry only to capture. The mine cannot be damaged, but if it is upgraded to t2 or t3, then it must be destroyed before being captured (it will become t1 after being destroyed). In addition, each faction has unique upgrades for the mines. This adds more tactical options and also saves your start resources.

The next update will add a new game mode (instead of annihilation), which will be associated with the unit creation limit. Thanks to this, matches without VP will not last for 3+ hours, and artillery barrage (against all units on the map!) will help you finish game faster :) There will also be new random events such as fog, reinforcements and cultist attack. In addition, of course, there is the third doctrine for Rennland. I plan to release all this at the beginning of next month.

Still a very long way :) I don't plan new factions until 1.0, and this also applies to Gallitia, as it's being developed in parallel with the main three factions and doesn't affect on the updates date anyway.

so hey, its me again, and i know that its probably getting annoying at this point to answer my questions and for that im sorry. but i cant do it on my own and im just gonna have to ask again. so a while ago i asked you how too get to a multiplayer server and you said that the id was at the bottom of the steam page, well i don't necessarily know what you mean by that. i just recently got into mods and this is all very new too me, so any specific help will be much appreciated.

Grenades will not be nerfed, as this is only a feature of bots, because the mod was created for PvP matches with AI (if necessary).

hey, so i was wondering if you would ever create another battle doctrine for the kingdom of rennland, and if so maybe it could be one that focuses on artillery and firepower rather than speed and armor. you could even introduce a deplorable infantry mortar. don't feel obligated to do this though, its just an idea and rennland is my favorite faction.

Ну это опять же проблемы РВ, но я такого не замечал.
Что то похожее (?) происходит когда указанная цель выходит из радиуса атаки, тогда юнит атакует уже по своему усмотрению те цели что есть в радиусе. Если указанная для атаки цель вернется в радиус, юнит переключится на нее если не был дан другой приказ. Еще такое может случиться у юнитов с несколькими турелями с разными радиусами атаки, одна достанет, а вторая будет стрелять уже по своему усмотрению

по поводу первого пункта. У меня был момент, когда играл с другом и указал для атаки его юнитов мои войска атаковали преимущественно его захваченную шахту игнорируя приказ на атаку его солдат.
