Ok, but I've played every playthrough with Commander Kings. So rn I have three mods. Load order : 1) Commander Kings, 2) Invictus, 3) Reanimata.

@Smiling Knight I only know that it Was part of Invictus and it was removed because it was buggy. If you are interested what and how many problems may occur you need to look into the files and compare them line by line.

Alright, will start new campaign but what about Virtual Limes? Is it integrated? I really like borders with this mod because otherwise AI borders makes no sense.
But I've played a lot with Commander Kings. Why won't it work with your mod? :steamsad:

A mod is harmless if it has nothing but a descriptor and a gfx folder inside. In almost every other case your Chance to face problems like crashes are high.

My mod changes much more than bare Invictus.

@Smiling Knight don't use mods which are integrated already. Try with Invictus and Reanimāta and nothing else ;)

Hip is integrated and fully reworked from scratch and also expanded by a lot.
Commander kings is very buggy on it's own and won't work with my mod
No Idea whether virtual Limes can causes Bugs bit I am sure to 90% it does.

Again. Dont use other mods if not patched or if you know that they are harmless

@Smiling Knight Also you really should NOT load Gui mods after my mod... (my mod adds a music player already) also you really shouldn't use other mods at all. I have to tell this again and again. Even small mods can causes problems. Modding isn't just easy and modular. Every single file in a mod can destroy so much code from another mod and without this missing code the game becomes unstable. So if your game crashes if you have Invictus and Reanimata installed and nothing else, I have to find the problem but in any other case my guess is that it is caused by all the other mods you're using :P

Does this conflict with graphic mods such as "Enhanced Graphics And Lightings". Looks like some of the files are touching the same thing, not sure

@The13thBean No idea as I am not the author of neither the timeline exender nor the 3rd century mod^^ No idea whether they will add anything soon. ALso I haven't looked into it whether it causes problems now when they haven't updated yet. The chances are high at least^^

So if you wanna be on the very safe side.... play without both mods or wait until both get an 1.10 update

Since yesterday I'm experiencing CTD whenever I try to launch a new game or load a game when Reanimata is on, game runs normally with no mods or just Invictus on... any suggestion? Thanks

@The Trashman Yeah I am working on it for 6-7 hours now non-stop and I don't exaggerate. I guess I will be able to upload it in 1-2 weeks.

Ich have to check hundred of files for changes and searchign for errors. Also there will be a hotfix from Invictus very likely as there are several errors right now on their end listed in the error log...

please be patient as I am doing all this here alone.
I will upload a pre-beta version soon on my discord which doesn't crash but there is a ton of stuff to do let alone my own new features coming with the next update.

@Yorick Thanks for reporting this! I fixed it quickly, but I won’t upload an update until the next major Invictus release.

If you’d like to fix it yourself, just take the 02_saba_mission file from Invictus and place it in the same folder within my mod. Then open the file and replace both instances of

"has_building = basic_settlement_infratructure_building"

with

"farming_et_al_trigger = yes"

@Karma Chamelion I found this Philokles Baalshillemi already yesterday as he fitted your description but his name was shown correctly. Where was a space causing this? " Philoklês" like this? That's very odd as in my files there is nothing wrong as I only added the ê to the e.

@Lord of Liberty. I fixed it. I created a empty mod file of my own and copied the character files into it. When I went through it for EGY and compared it side by side to the original entry from Imperator. They were almost identical, except for a space at the beginning of his name, in your file. I removed the space and tested, his name now works fine. I will Continue to play test and let you know things if I find them? If you don't mind or would like me to. I apologise as I realise I'm rather persistent and annoying lol.

I've also learned how to w to add characters, I added my friend who passed away to the game. He was fascinated with Alexander the Great, so I used his DNA sequence and mod number from the readme (516) as I saw that was the first available character ID.

@Lord of Liberty I joined your discord. Also, I found the Character without your mod. _malename, with just invictus installed is Philokles Baalshillemi. A Syriote, Canaanite naval general. But with Reanimata active, he becomes _malename with no culture, but hellenic religion

@Karma Chameleon There are several ways characters can be generated. First, there are setup characters, which you can identify by their low character ID—usually between 1 and 516. Then there are historical characters created by events either at game start or later in the game (for example, Cicero is generated by my mod). Next, you have randomly generated characters from various events, whose names and skills are assigned randomly. And finally, there are characters constantly created by the game engine in the background.

To add a character, you’d need to write a simple event where you define his name and skills. If you’d like, I can share a small file with such an event that you can run in your game. We'd need to switch to Discord for that though. ^^

By the way, you can view character IDs by pressing F11, which activates debug mode—just note that it disables achievements.

@Lord of Liberty, may I ask, how do I see random generated characters? I know I can see the preset ones in setup. But how do I see the other characters in game? Or are they completely randomized script?

I want to add a friend of mine who passed away and was fascinated with the Diadoci and Ancient Greece, as a character in my game. Just. Bc. I'm a little saopy
