you get one species at the start, and need to trade the others - iirc that can indead be chicken, pigs or cows ;-)
But doesn't matter as much, get your crops going asap ;-)

Do you you HAVE to buy pigs from the trader or could you possibly get some pigs at the start of the game by random??

thx, sadly i'm not a fan of that mod because of it's setting, but it's hell'a'lot bunch of nice stuff - so congratz for that great work! :-)
(idk if it's good, not played, but everything done with heart is better than nothing done - i'm sure others enjoy it^^)

Shouldn't the product <Pig> be called <Pork>? Would also help distinguish it from the livestock <Pigs>.

Any way someone could make a mod that would just add pigs as a farmable animal, also maybe turkeys without the butcher shop.

Mod does this: adds pigs as a farmable animal, and also adds non-farmable versions of the animals that go into inventory. These non-farmable animals can be butchered for food, becoming the correct type of meat, or traded, but cannot be made farmable. When you get more animals than a pasture can hold, the extra animal has a chance to end up in your inventory instead of automatically being killed for meat. It's actually a quite good mod, but it would be far better if the non-farmable versions didn't have the exact same names as the farmable ones, making it hard to determine which is which in the trading post other than by learning how much each version costs.

I'm confused. I built this, I bought pigs from the trader, they sit in the trading post, and the butcher has the slash sign above it indicating there aren't any supplies.

I have to admit that what Mojojo88 says is accurate: all livestock becomes product without a chance to move it to the pasture. So sadly I have to disable the mod for now.
@Gix, could you please fix the mod to make it playable - it's awesome! :D

yea there is a problem, when u activate it, livestock is gone, all u buy from merch will become food, u wont be able to put them in cage, straight to cut. Possible ot change this?

Sorry if I'm mistaken but if this is the mod that adds pigs, I had a problem with the livestock not appearing after I traded for them. Thanks for the mod.

Mostly because once you learn the game it's really simple to just get your town up and running. I was thinking maybe a bit of a productionchain could make it a bit more challenging to get a bigger town going, even if it's just obfuscation of resources since there's really a limited numbers of ways to add more challange to the game currently. And also because i like productionchains.

The building looks cool, but what purpose does it serve? The pastures can slaughter the animals already... I would appreciate a more detailed description.
