Actually Jack I made them. So yes, there is music sound. There are also CS2's footsteps, damage sound, hitbox sound etc. from the Source 2

The issue was the gameinfo.txt. I finally resolved it. Thanks BTW...

And is there a cs2 file? If "left4dead2" is in the file, is there "hud", "font", "pak01_dir" in it?

Can you check if your gameinfo.txt file says something like cs2/font?

That's what I did already. Only the background was changed, but the font and console was still at default...

All you have to do is open the vpk file with GCFScape or L4D2 Authering tools and replace the left4dead2 folder with the "Left 4 Dead 2" files directly in the games "left4dead2" folder.

the font change is not working. it still uses the default L4D2 font as well as the console...

@Destrukto, Subscribing allows you to receive the files. i do not want to give a link to a 3rd party site. I prefer to follow the path recommended by steam, just to be safe.

After opening the file, you need to put left 4 dead 2 in the main place, thats what i do, everyone does it like this and it happens normally.

First of all @ONI, doing these will not affect Left 4 in any way. All you need to do is verify the file to restore it to its previous state.

I have an issue, the background isn't appearing, I did what you ask. I also was concerned regarding the left4dead2 file wanting to replace the usual one.
