Hey, is it possible to add a multiplier to the power output? If so, please share where I can do that! If not though, would you be able to make another version of this mod that make them outputs 2000x the power or make it adjustable without consuming more Deuterium please!

( for context I need 36,000 gigawatts so I can make laser antennas with infinite range communicate over about 50 ls (15,000,000 km) for a 1/100 scale model of the solar system:steamhappy: )

@GodShake - Honestly, I really don't know. I try to make all my models with the least amount of faces/ poly count. The mod you're referring to uses a glass material which is GPU heavy for reflections and transparency. And it has more rounded edges than mine. I use a shading technique that makes less faces look rounded like there are double the amount. On the other hand my models have more emissive/ lighting materials. So it may or may not be better or worse. I'd have to load them separate and watch my GPU stats.
GodShake 30 Aug, 2024 @ 12:49pm
Hello just to know, i use the nukeguard Deuterium Reactors, and they are pretty heavy for my gpu/cpu, are those lightweight compared to that?
Danger Zone 26 Aug, 2024 @ 12:05am
He's asking for helium to be added because fusion reactors produce helium-3 as a byproduct
MTGraves  [author] 23 Aug, 2024 @ 7:49pm
@DrayZor - At this time, the mod uses its own version of Deuterium. I don't think the author is looking to change it.

@Cabal-2140 - Not sure I understand. The mod is fusing resources together? Can you elaborate on what its doing a bit more?
Cabal-2140 19 Aug, 2024 @ 5:47am
Hey there, could you add helium to the system becaus your reacor fuses deuterium to helium. and it would be nice to make the helium into hydrogen so we can use the output that tecnically should be there. :D
DrayZor 18 Aug, 2024 @ 3:32pm
Heey, and way to use the deuterium minéral from deuterium fusion reactor ? Oor use isotopes to D.F.R ?(cause I likely both and wanna use both of it
Danger Zone 11 Jul, 2024 @ 10:20pm
Well shoot, thanks for following up though
MTGraves  [author] 11 Jul, 2024 @ 5:47pm
@menot - Unfortunately the author stated that he has no desire to change the crafting receipt to better stone at this time.

@iOFFLINE - Not sure if that was a complement or not, but we're taking it as a complement for not cutting corners by using different models for each reactor version. So thank you!
iOFFLINE 11 Jul, 2024 @ 12:22pm
You are not following the principles of ""MK-<num>"". MKII means stuffing more potential into the same size as the MKI.
well...good job!
menot 7 Jul, 2024 @ 5:41am
Any news on "Better Stone" compatibility?
I would love that....
Malpherian 5 Jul, 2024 @ 2:19am
Oh nvm I read the recipie wrong. Its created from ice and magniesium, not ice mag and Deut
Malpherian 5 Jul, 2024 @ 2:18am
Where do you get the Deuterium at? is it on a custom asteroid or planet? or a new Ore added to stuff randomly?
MTGraves  [author] 14 Jun, 2024 @ 6:52am
@ditchdiver75 - I'd have to ask the creator Lordanubis, I posted the mod for him on Steam but I was only a contributer not the creator. I'll let you know when I get a response.
ditchdiver75 13 Jun, 2024 @ 11:15pm
I was wonder if I could use your model appearance of the mini reactor in a refinery mod Im doing.? I just want to use the model and none of the functions of it. I think its look would fit well the model I have created.
Danger Zone 7 Jun, 2024 @ 4:28pm
Yeah, I haven't been able to find vanilla magnesium ore in the mod, but I've found the modded ones
MTGraves  [author] 5 Jun, 2024 @ 7:57am
@Danger Zone - You mean as in a usable material to create the Isotope?
Danger Zone 29 May, 2024 @ 11:59am
Any way this can be compatible with Better Stone?
MTGraves  [author] 20 Apr, 2024 @ 7:42am
@Khal - Unfortunately no, the creator stated that he wanted to keep the mod as simple as possible. So he stated that any kind of management would be done with sorters and logic blocks.
Khal 20 Apr, 2024 @ 1:34am
@MTGraves Hi, I was just wondering if there is supposed to be a production que for the refinery so it does'nt use up all of my Ice and Magnesium Ore? Thanks.
jamstraz 12 Apr, 2024 @ 5:00am
I love the aesthetics but unfortunately I'm using another mod that adds Deuterium and this would create two versions of a material :(
nshdsh597 7 Apr, 2024 @ 3:25pm
I love this mod.
Better than nuclear reactor or Hydrogen engine,
since the resources are on any planet.
The game needs things like this.
Typhon Plume 4 Apr, 2024 @ 11:42pm
Sounds good, I was thinking of such as it might help out in the long run with ship design as I noticed the reactors when I made one tend to burn through the fuel a bit quickly.
MTGraves  [author] 3 Apr, 2024 @ 5:11pm
Ok I have update a model fix, and made adjustments. Read the change notes and let me know how that runs.
MTGraves  [author] 3 Apr, 2024 @ 4:29pm
@camcamhow - Thats a type-o, sorry about that. That is the stats for the Wasteland Survival version. I'll fix that.
camcamhow 3 Apr, 2024 @ 4:18pm
I understand that but what you are saying in the description is that your reactor is supposed to use 1 isotope per min at max output, but in my world its going at 1 isotope per 3 sec at max output
MTGraves  [author] 3 Apr, 2024 @ 2:37pm
Likely, I will increase how many Isotopes are created per the recipe. reduce the burn rate a bit, increase the Refinery max draw space and physical inventory to smooth out the pull system, and increase the Refine rate as well.
MTGraves  [author] 3 Apr, 2024 @ 2:30pm
@camcamhow - That's intentional. The Reactors offer more power at a cost. They are more expensive to build and they burn through fuel faster cuz the items that make the fuel are easier to find. Well that's the thought process. But I'm still tweaking the numbers.
camcamhow 3 Apr, 2024 @ 1:19pm
yea its burning at 1 per 3 seconds and not 1 per min
"Currently all reactors are set up to burn 1 Deuterium Isotope pre minute at max output, while the refinery can produce 1 Deuterium Isotope per minute."
MTGraves  [author] 3 Apr, 2024 @ 12:46pm
@camcamhow - what are you referencing? These reactors are setup to burn fuel faster than their vanilla counterparts as, but it's mentioned in the item descriptions. Is it burning too quickly?
camcamhow 3 Apr, 2024 @ 11:29am
at max usage
camcamhow 3 Apr, 2024 @ 11:29am
hey ive been testing the mod im not sure if youve changed this but it seems to use 1 isotope in 3 seconds instead of 1 min
MTGraves  [author] 3 Apr, 2024 @ 7:47am
I run some more tests today and see if I can make any adjustment to make it solnoother.
MTGraves  [author] 3 Apr, 2024 @ 7:46am
@Typhon Plume - I'm not sure about any additions, the creator of the mod seems to be content with it at this time but I can ask.

#Jumper - Yeah unfortunately that pull issue is due to Core mechanics. We tried to find a balance so it would be harder to stall the system, but without making the Refinery inventory super massive which players would complain about we maxed it out around 40k of each item will draw without issue.

As for the assembler. it's hard coded to assemble components from Ingots not Ore to Ingots, so you'd have to a lot more coding and the fuel creation process would be longer imagine.
Jumper 2 Apr, 2024 @ 2:00am
assembler can pull multiple items. wouldnt be better to use assembler concept for procesor rather then refinery ? just idea IDK if its possible.
Jumper 2 Apr, 2024 @ 1:51am
procesor is pulling MG or ICE not both. any idea how to fix it ? Thanks
Nice work. thanks for content :)
Typhon Plume 1 Apr, 2024 @ 9:27pm
Nice but I am wondering will there be addition of a fuel tank in the future?
MTGraves  [author] 30 Mar, 2024 @ 7:20pm
@Thundercraft - was able to reduce the overall size down to 265.75MB. Not sure why those files were not removed with the others. Sorry about that.
VS-lockon 30 Mar, 2024 @ 2:09pm
BIV Deuterium in Star Trek so no it was not in met the Robinson
[BR]SharkStrike 30 Mar, 2024 @ 10:48am
Please fix this mod size overflow.
It doesn't make sense to be that size. Not even the Weapon Core and MES mods are like that.
Anomoly 30 Mar, 2024 @ 10:10am
long shot but just curious if anyone has tried this with Industrial Overhaul, there is a way to generate Deuterium in that mod as well.
MTGraves  [author] 30 Mar, 2024 @ 9:04am
@Thundercraft - I noticed the size too last night so I looked into it and found vanilla files used for testing and creating were accidentally left in the textures folder. I'll have it corrected hopefully by the end of the day. Should reduce the file size by 500MB or so.. The mod size should be like 200 - 300MBs.
Thundercraft 30 Mar, 2024 @ 5:17am
This looks and sounds Amazing! I'd love to try this!
Sadly, I can't bring myself to use up another 1 GB of my limited disk space just for a reactor, no matter how amazing. (I wonder how much of that is due to high resolution textures and how much of it are the 3D meshes for the models?)
BIV 30 Mar, 2024 @ 12:40am
This might just be my early onset dementia talking, but wasn't Deuterium the fuel that the Robinson family were always searching for by firing a laser into the ground? I really wanted them to find a rich deposit on day.....KaBoom ...warning will robinson. Miybe not.
MTGraves  [author] 29 Mar, 2024 @ 7:03pm
@VS-lockon - Hmm... I'll have to take a look at what they did and relay the info to the creator.
VS-lockon 29 Mar, 2024 @ 6:58pm
Lordanubis or self might want do the same especially since that would make it hard get if you add the ore to the asteroid ore generation
VS-lockon 29 Mar, 2024 @ 6:51pm
um no in Life'Tech-Powers (Multilingual) Kuvat by and same with Deuterium Fusion Reactors by nukeguard both mods you can use ice and or Gravel however it's inefficient compared to the deuterium ore that both modder made and add in to the game ore generation
MTGraves  [author] 29 Mar, 2024 @ 5:57pm
@VS-lockon - I think Lordanubis wanted to use Ice and Gravel, but the core code of the game wouldn't allow it as gravel is already a refined item, meaning that it would have to be Stone, so he ended up choosing Magnesium instead. Now this was mainly for hardcore Wasteland Survival, so he might change it up for the standard version. I can ask.
VS-lockon 29 Mar, 2024 @ 2:02pm
odd that it Magnesium when you need that for ammo as well as uranium and all the other Dueterium mods add there own ore but okay i guess
MTGraves  [author] 29 Mar, 2024 @ 1:52pm
@VS-lock - I see, well if you need to refere back to it at any point, it's listed on the mod page. But it's 500 Ice + 500 Magnesium Ore = 0.1 Isoptope/ Ingots. Though that may change to = 0.5. Not sure yet.
