this mod provides the item as it is. as well as a covert action and a Point of interest but NO loot drops as is stated in the description

Meld is also not showing up in my run

This mod also sets a POI Reward and a Covert Action as a means to obtain the MELD.

Does this provide an actual source of Meld? With PxM the meld showed up in loot drops and a covert action to acquire some, but I have found none in my current campaign using this mod.

A) you only need one source of the Meld item, so choose either this mod or that one for simplicity.
B) I honestly didn't test the standalone POI/CA because I just pulled the files directly from the larger Psionics Ex Machina project - where they have been tested to work perfectly.

Hi there , i dont know if i am stupid or what
but in my playthrough could not find the " Meld "
No - POI , No Covert Action´s ... :steamsad:

I am using the :

and of course with your " Meld " mod

you can try Let there be POI Mod from Mitzruti to create custom POI. It's a bit of work, but totally doable with config and localization alone @ironmonk

A cool idea, but outside the scope of this mod.
I think Weapon Fragments are from ABB if I recall correctly, and they drop as common loot items.

This mod can certainly be used as an example for other modders to do something like that though.

So, TLDR: instead of a "MELD" mod, it would be a "Expanded Loot: Multiple Configurable Resources"

Hey, I'm here again to give some suggestions!

Would it be difficult to expand the concept of this mod and add support for more custom items?

Like, for example the "Weapon Fragment" from MOCX (I believe?)... so the mod would allow me to set any number of special resources in the config and it would automatically include them as special drop like meld, and POI + Covert Ops for such item (if configured to do so).

This way, anyone would be able to create new resources with "Iridar's Template Master" or incorporate some less useful things from some mods into something new.

In the example above, I was thinking how to make PGO PCS/Upgrades retrofit a little less costly on supplies and using something else instead and then I saw the "Weapon Fragment" thing and said "that's it!"... If was possible to add this as a drop like meld, and also add a "Chip Fragment" to use for PCS's, it would be great.

@attiladuran123
All/any of the 3 mods will give you Meld. You only need to have one of them ...

Psionics Ex Machina: is where the item originated. This works in WotC, LWotC (including Mod Jam/Mod Jam+) and CI and gives you the full experience of the setup. Honestly what we would prefer you to use!

Meld for LWotC: was made with permission by Kiruka, although 90% of the work was me, lol. This works in LWotC and only with Mod Jam/Mod Jam+. It is just the item and a POI. It has become a little outdated, due to Kiruka taking some leave from modding. No longer recommended.

PexM Standalone MELD: Is an updated version of the above. This works in WotC, LWotC (including Mod Jam/Mod Jam+) and CI. It is just the item with a config optional POI and/or Covert Action. The alternative preference to the full PexM mod.

I'm so happy you decided to share this because now I don't have to amateurishly try to make it myself. Kudos!
