@Frogtron I know it's probably poor manners to mention other mods here, but there are mods that fix item management for the most part. Hope you can find them.

I like the concept of the different fruits but as someone who struggles with inventory management I'm finding it a bit of a hassle in gameplay unfortunately. Chickens and not murdering critters is nice tho!

It took a bit, but @ZapInfernum chickens are now 1,500% less likely to cluck on average. I also added some configs since they're easy, disabling the chat rework and the slime overhaul if desired.

I am begging... please... the chickens are driving me crazy... i love the extra fruit because i also have a starve mod on..... but the chickens.... are incessant..... i can't sell them... can't cook them...... what is the point of the chickens constantly spawning four at a time and playing the same buckaw.mp3 noise eighty times in a row....

All critters are unkillable by default, instead of the other way around. That's something Pandill0 asked for specifically. I know he also plans to continue the mod eventually, so I'm sure drops from the critters are likely.

What's the point of chickens if you can't even cook them...? And why are they just killable but ONLY if you have a special item..
