Nice mod but no matter what I cant get any archer type unit mounted. Sad day

It also overwrites heroes with magelocks, in an.... odd? way? for one thing their mount is invisible sometimes, for another their magelocks also get overridden with basic magelocks of the old style, so while they can shoot, their damage is limited to about 30/shot, which is no better than the actual magelock unit.

checked this mod on the ogre playtest, has the problem of the old maglock weapon overiding the new ones being implemented in this update, making them unable to fire. Everything else is fine.

Use mount masters to actually get them to be mounted, as it requires a trait pick to get base mounts, or a regular mount trait.

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but with only this mod enabled it CTD when I try to open the forge. Love the mod and thanks btw.

Warbreed is the only racial unit that isn't made mountable with this mod. But I think that's intentional, since they seem to have a different skeleton type as other racial units. It might be tricky to make them mounting anything.

- clipping issues when hero holds some of the twohanded weapons (e.g. twohander, staff)
- warlock (dark culture battle mage) doesn't get movement bonus when mounted

more so than indicated in thread below
this mod mounted ZERO tier 1 or tier 2 units

the only higher tier units I have found so far that now have optional cavalry are
3 zephyr archer, 4 transmuter

none of the other unmounted tier 3 and 4 units became mounted

so the question becomes is mounting 2 units worth adding 240 to 280 kb to the save file??

(to the trolls, the save file issue is not with PC hard disk size, it is with how AoW4 large save file sizes make it take longer and longer to save a file. at 6 MB save file size the added time to save a game is already noticeable)

The Paradox launcher is complaining about a malformed metadata file, which makes it not default to enabled but you can manually enable it.

Seems to be working really well mostly! The only issues I've noticed are that two-handed axe units like primal chargers have some major clipping with their axes on spiders especially, and primal staffs are held by the very end by heroes rather than gripping them more in the middle.

Yo, could we possibly get just Heroes with 2 handed weapons while mounting as a standalone feature? I REALY like that feature, but would love to preserve the rest of the game as is.
