Greetings, again, friends.
It honors me to see at least a good number of people to actually care about this mod, which makes me sad to just delete it...

I've been thinking a bit about it and may need a bit more time to do so fully, yet maybe it is possible for me to offer an compromise, in the form of an restructuring.

In said case, I would not delete the mod and leave it as is for the time being, and will set it to my mind to remake this mod into an lite, more visually pleasing and with way better code structural version. I would visualise this however once I start working on it, so that potential damages to saves would be minimised. (Prewiew or so)
I cannot however give promises or garuntees, yet I will attempt my best and keep the mod online for the time being!
Thank you, friends! Hope you are enjoying Odyssey! :fhappy:

Like several others have said, please don't remove the mod from the Workshop. It works fine as is. While I don't use all of the floors in every save, I do use at least one (not always the same one) in every run.
Evan 10 Jul @ 9:37am
It'd be nice if you didn't remove the mod from the workshop and instead kept it in its depreciated format, but with your permission I could try to take it over or ask if Mille can. It's a good mod with some nice floor types, and I'd be glad to see if I can keep it running in the future.

bro,Hope you stay healthy

i'd also appreciate if you kept the mod uploaded.

also i'm also mentally ill, i get it. i have to disable comments on my mods sometimes or otherwise it can drive me nuts with people asking questions. so maybe consider disabling comments on your mods so you can just forget they exist and don't have to delete them :)
Hyou  [author] 6 Jul @ 12:27pm
Sincerely, I did not expect that this mod even is still rather commonly used, especially since these floors are quite outdated.

@CrystalAurora
@lloki
No worries, things will be fine for me, it was merely these last few days that have been rough...
It is an mental thing, my brain runs on Shizophrenia, which can be very, very draining.

About the Mod, it grieves me to abandon it, but that was only a matter of time.
I still am working on mods like such, but I will likely not post them on the Steam Workshop, to prevent cases like this, and to give me way more fredom,

Back when I made this mod, a lot of it was because of an desire for recognition, I believe.
Now, I could not care less about that...
Still, I hope you are having fun, see you around, friends!
Feel free to check out my other mods, especially in preperations to Odyssey,
there are some good ones on here!
CrystalAurora 6 Jul @ 12:03pm
sorry to hear about your troubles :( take care! You mod is great but you are more important <3
lloki 6 Jul @ 11:47am
Hay man, thanks for the mod, I will definitely keep going to use it. Take care!
Hyou  [author] 6 Jul @ 11:20am
I know about that, yet it is very, very easy to just make an local file, especially via RimSort or RimPy, which I recomend everyone to use, especially the first one.

I will think about it, just...
No promises... :c
IceMaverick 6 Jul @ 10:59am
I would appreciate it if you don't burn the mod off the workshop entirely. While you certainly don't have to maintain or update things anymore, it's very frustrating to have my saves riddled with errors when Steam forcibly removes it from my PC because the mod was taken down.

1.6?

All is well. Take care of yourself. Burnout is not something to ignore. I was just putting it there in case someone else had my same issue.
Hyou  [author] 22 Dec, 2024 @ 2:43pm
I hope to make up for it soon! Problem is that I may have gotten myself into a burnout again...
consider that my Shizophrenia has been keeping me down quite a bit recently, but it's getting better!

Ramblings aside, many thanks for everybody still interested in Pavimentum, I seriously have not considered two thousand people (Imagine that number in a crowd!!) to still use it, and hope to gain more motivation from it!

Feel free to give suggestions for floors and furniture for the new mod, if it fits, I'll consider it! :D
Hyou  [author] 22 Dec, 2024 @ 2:36pm
@ShyGuySpirit
Sincere apologies for the inconveniance. :c

While here, let me explain where I have been.
I am currently working on an improved mod, since I gained so much more experience and improved artisticly. Focus of that mod will be to add not just add new floors, but also themed objects like - for example - MechTech inspired Furniture and Structures or rustic Plankwood.

About the floors, there will be many new ones in the new mod, many variations of stone tiles, modular wood-planks of variating 'sizes' to decorate with.
Sincere apologies for my slow speed and quick abandonment of pavimentum, aswell as my silence...
ShyGuySpirit 22 Dec, 2024 @ 2:20pm
Took me a few months to find where the Hazard Floor disappeared to. It went to the Longcrete which I never use, so I couldn't find it. I tried researching so many tech to try to unlock it, because I couldn't find it even though the research said I already unlocked it. Looking through the comments it said that Hazard were moved to Concrete which didn't have a dropdown. Hope this helps other people if it doesn't get changed back.

Great floors, amazing job
Holgast 3 Jun, 2024 @ 1:08am
oh boy, more stone floors that I can add mod compatibility to
Hyou  [author] 19 May, 2024 @ 2:25pm
@Victor
Not realy, The mod is more intended to be for Building and spicing up your base visually, there are no slowdown floors in the mod.
Victor 19 May, 2024 @ 2:22pm
Are there any floors that slow pawns down? I'm looking for something to build in my happy raider welcoming box
Hyou  [author] 25 Apr, 2024 @ 11:48am
@Yekaterinnana
That is indeed a weired bug.
I have no Idea what could cause this.
Yekaterinnani 24 Apr, 2024 @ 7:30pm
I added the mod mid-saved game, and the steel deposits become deposits of tribal vynil floor (faded green), not the color of the deposit, but the resource itself becomes a floor of this mod, when removing the mod my deposits already give steel again, I will try as soon as I can verify if it happens alone without any other mod (=
Yekaterinnani 24 Apr, 2024 @ 7:30pm
Hello, I didn't know that removing or putting mods in mid-game can cause problems with deep drilling, since I had never experienced it before, I have not added or removed mods for generating minerals or stones and mineable resources in the middle of the game (I don't know if that's what causes deep drilling errors)
Hyou  [author] 24 Apr, 2024 @ 2:05pm
Curious. I run Pavimentum with my personal Load Order, aswell as completely vanilla with only the mod, and in both cases, everything is fine, which means, this must be a mod conflict, unless you just run the game without the mod that colours deep resources to begin with, in which case every deep resource is marked as green to begin with.

Another question. Did you add or remove any mods mid-game?
That can commonly cause deep-drill bugs.
Again, what is the expected result of the deep resources?
I am asking because the overlay is supposed to mark them as green from vanilla.
Hyou  [author] 24 Apr, 2024 @ 1:50pm
@Yekaterinnani
I am very confused about what the problem even looks like.
Do you mean that if you activate the deep resource overlay, the resource tiles are green?
That would be normal.
I will check this out on my rig, with my current load order and with just vanilla and my mod enabled, Just give me some time.

I will likely have to ask Sakura to look over the code, as she made it, but maybe I changed something and something else broke? Weired.
Yekaterinnani 24 Apr, 2024 @ 11:33am
I removed the mod and the problem was solved :c, i like so much the floors you added!! they are really unique, i was really excited about the mod, i hope you can fix the problem c=
Yekaterinnani 24 Apr, 2024 @ 10:50am
hi, i have the same problem as @inikini, now all my steel underground deposits converted to Tribal Vinyl (faded green color).

Thank you for the clarification! Now I may mark my dangerous areas on the map :)
Hyou  [author] 21 Apr, 2024 @ 9:01am
@vandalism
Thank you!
About the Hazard floor, it is under the concrete dropdown, the one with the longcretes.
I admit, moving it to there was likely an confusing desicion, which I will likely revert in the next update, for which I just haven't found the strenght to work on right now.
vandalism 21 Apr, 2024 @ 5:33am
I like the floors in this mod. Am I blind or missing something because I want to use the black and yellow striped caution floor but I am not seeing it anywhere? I have researched quite a bit of the tree and don't see it... I see other stuff from this mod. Any ideas?
Runzu 9 Apr, 2024 @ 8:08am
Mmm, love slab floors. Great for accents or being accented. <3
Hyou  [author] 9 Apr, 2024 @ 12:09am
First Update is out, but nothing too fancy, just one new floor type, but I will get myself to making more once Anolaly hits!
See you, Gamers!
Hyou  [author] 8 Apr, 2024 @ 5:32pm
@Rotz
Haha, a hood classic!
Don't worry, that has happened to me quite often, too!
But be free to tell me how you like the floors, after you checked them out!
Just note that the Chemfloors (Exept Tribal Vinyl) are locked behind Biofuel Refinement, so you gotta unlock that to get to play with all of them! :fhappy:
Rotz 8 Apr, 2024 @ 5:01pm
Scratch that, turns out I was just dumb and thought I had installed it when I had not.
Rotz 8 Apr, 2024 @ 4:55pm
The mod does not show up for me in the architect menu, Is it a research unlock?
Hyou  [author] 6 Apr, 2024 @ 3:48pm
@inikini
That seems to be a common modding issue that is said to happen sometimes when mods are added or removed mid-game.
It cannot realy be this mod, as it does not edit any related files at all, this is just a floor mod,
have you added or removed this or other mods during your savegame perchance?

If no, I recomend you test if this is a consistant error, on a newly generated save.
Try to replicate this issue, first with your current modlist, and if still ocuring, with only the basegame and my mod.

Also, deep resources overlays are genuenly green, did you have the Coloured deep drill resource mod enabled before?
inikini 6 Apr, 2024 @ 2:59pm
Not sure if it's this mod that directly caused it, but my underground steel deposits are all Tribal Vinyl (faded green) now. Existing and newly discovered ones. And mining them just increases what's there.
Trianqren 4 Apr, 2024 @ 7:20am
lego floor??? 10/10
Hyou  [author] 3 Apr, 2024 @ 3:44pm
Also a quick note:
Anybody is able to give suggestions, if they are good and fit the game, I'd look into it, if given enough time.
Additionally, you can always comission me to make new floors!
That is if you have something specific like a special pattern in mind...
But well, I hate advertising too much, I am a mod artist, not a Twitter Artist!
Hyou  [author] 3 Apr, 2024 @ 3:40pm
@MeatBeatMarv
Sadly no, I could ask Slomow if she can add compatibility into the xml, which I can imagine may happen in the next update, however I would like to include at least a small amount of new floors additionally. I will make them once my burnout for floors is over...
Autistic burnout sucks, this body is so limiting...
Hyou  [author] 3 Apr, 2024 @ 3:32pm
@Mowos
A small amount of floors have been removed, for example the Texagons, as they just did not look good, even the revised version which I tried myself on.
Additionally, a few floors have been renamed, and new ones added!

Honestly, I could have just updated HyArchitect I assume, but I kindof wanted to start off freshly again, as I gained a lot more modding experience now!
Moros 3 Apr, 2024 @ 2:12pm
What specifically is different from HyArchitect, and what overlap is there?
MeatBeatMarv 3 Apr, 2024 @ 1:45pm
you mention concrete. any chance that this has compatibility with Fortifications - Industrial's concrete blocks?
