To fix oxygen u probably need to fill the air with more air. Alot of builders forget this cubice liters of 1 tank wont fill up massive designs. Way to fix it if u want it airtight more air.

ah ok , i am making mine out of almost all heavy armor on the outside and its made to carry other massive ships and she is not made for naval battles its more for the civilian focus with lots of armor for when she gets caught off guard

Yes making the ship light and maneuverable was a key part of this, aggressively remove redundant blocks and especially for some interior sections you can save weight by using panels instead of full or half blocks. Despite being much bigger than my battleship, this carrier is not too different from it in weight, which shows that my battleship build has room for weight optimisation.

looks cool , one of my ships i am making is 11 meters shorter but it out tons it by a lot (something in the 90 giga ton range i believe)

im back to report, after disconnecting it from the grid. i sat down in the command center, activated the first script, converted to a ship. then it just clipped in the ground to be never seen again. what a waste of 20+ hours xD

The ship uses the popular whiplash ones like autodoor, radar, etc.
Gravity drive manager by dwarven cleric
Clang drive manager by major jon
Automatic LCDs from MMaster

The biggest ship that can dock into it is just the meteor frigate and its ass will be sticking out. It can comfortably take the large grid razortail corvette though, and 4 of the alabaster large grid miners.

My friend and I were fangirling ever since we saw this thing. Truly a magnificent work of art. The Crescendo is a fitting name for it- On a side note, this build actually helped me become a bit of a better designer.

@Murphy LOL... if the scripts are running and merge pulse drives are operating it shouldn't crash, but i'm not sure if Clang would like having the pulse drives connected to a stationary grid initially

yo, im building this ship right now in my survival world, i realized that, ive projected it upside down, but im like 40-50% done. will it float as soon as it is disconnect it from the grid or will it crash down?

Open a world in creative mode, turn off PCU limits, turn on experimental mode and enable scripts. Subscribe to this item, then when you load into the world, hit F10 and select the ship and you should be able to just paste it in :)

omg lol, this ship is just EVERYTHING. I love starting on planet and just mine ore with rover and stuff like that, and that ship can be my ultimate goal. I hope it work with atmoshperic physic mod and realistic thruster (offset force).

Hello there mister, my main question on your build would be.. how?
What I mean is that I was part of a project to make a 1:1 scale Terran Battlecruiser from StarCraft, and we had to cancel the project not because performance issues but because the game just quite literally broke down. We finished the hull, but as we started filling it the game just idk how to even explain it, again, broke down. Stuff just disappeared and physics didn't work at all. (the build was 510 metres long)

Amazing ship! My only gripe is the landing gear. The way it permanently sticks out really breaks off the design. If it was retractable or better incorporated into the design it would make the ship even better

Oh that side area is the torpedo it's not meant to print. Basically how this fighter works is, step 1, print the fighter, detach from merge block and sit on welding platform. Step 2, arm the fighter by turning on the welding platform. Step 3, go out and fight some stuff, fire torpedoes. Step 4, return to welding pad, print torpedoes onto the fighter again. Regarding the kitted out version, I omitted that for a couple reasons, people probably want to use their own fighters, and the second most important reason is I think it might slow down the pasting process. The number of fighters you actually want on board is really going to depend on your computer and your tolerance for fps/simspeed haha

Sorry correction. Now that I understand the ship, its actually the right side missile that is phased into the wall. If you wait for the ship to print a strafe a bit to the left and turn on welders, you can complete the build.

The whole right side thruster area wont print. Its stuck clipping through the walls. Also, I see you took pictures with the ship essentially fully kitted. Is there a way you can upload a version of the ship completely loaded already? If not totally cool. XD

Was it the top part or bottom part not printing or just a torpedo? If top/bottom part then there is some issue with the piston, i thought i fixed that but guess not. If piston isnt extending/retracting properly it will cause that. if it's just the torpedo not printing that is normal, the torpedo is meant to be welded on separately. when the fighter finishes printing without the torpedo, move the fighter a bit away from the merge block, then turn the welders on to finish that torpedo. the welding pad is meant to also act as a re-arm and refit platform so after firing torpedoes you can return and re-arm.

A lot of systems are turned off by default (including onboard gravity) so that your PC doesn't immediately catch fire when you spawn it. Also the gravity only covers most of the airtight regions of the interior near center of ship, not the entire internal hangar because it's too freakin huge.

Neat ship with an absolutely bonkers amount of firepower lol

I like the idea of the "simspeed" control station haha. One thing possibly worth considering is a on/off toggle for all of the gravity gens and artificial mass blocks used by the gravity drives. Just those blocks being on (even with the gravity gyro script disabled) drops my simspeed to 0.7. Turning all of the grav drive blocks off makes my simspeed go back up to 1.0 when stationary :)

It took me a Second to realise the amount of Railguns there are. When i shoot the enemy will be gone and my Power as well. 10/10.
