Report a translation problem
As far as I'm aware, you should be able to use any of the Reborn versions together with the original Dragonborn version, as the original Dragonborn version is standalone and should not conflict.
However if you are going to use the Reborn versions, you should not use any of the original versions apart from Dragonborn, as they will conflict.
Let me know if you need me to clarfiy what I mean by all that.

As for the freezing, well I've found that usually that has something to do with the computer you're running Skyrim on. Both the old and new mod work fine for me.
