it is the DX9 version and texture is not meant for the current DX11 version of the game. Unfortunately they removed the correct version so you have to deal with the nasty purple but at least have the function of it

if we had hover cars I could say fuck you city sonstruction worker's who shut down the highway to one lane that is backed up worse then your home sewer and fly over it instead of having to sit behind bottlenecked traffic for like 5 minutes on the short cut route to get home

This is one of my fav mods. Before this mod there was no useful purpose for stone (except if you use it as ammo for grav cannons maybe) but I have so much fuel thanks to this 5 star mod. I seriously have an array of Crushers to dispose of excess ore or stone and create fuel. I'm sure there are mods out there for it but if you find the time could you please make a similar mod for making ice for oxygen? That would set me up decent personally. Granted I know about oxygen farms but that would make two uses for stone and trash and stockpile ice in case Oxy farms aren't possible or viable on a build. Hey guys, sorry i've been offline a lot im in hospital still at the moment and the wifi here tends to block the ports needed for steam games so im having difficulty getting anything done. Rest assured though as soon as i'm back home ill be back on the modding and satisfy my gaming addiction once again. Missing all you guys and hope everybody is doing well! Speak soon.

It would be nice if you and Prof. hulk (maker of Energy to matter generator(E.T.M.G)) got together and created the Star Track Replicator (A replicator was a device that used transporter technology to dematerialize quantities of matter and then rematerialize that matter in another form. It was also capable of inverting its function, thus disposing of leftovers and dishes and storing the bulk material again.

Connect whatever you use to crush rock to the uranium maker thingy then put a sorter block that ONLY whitelists gravel

@vonmon, there is a refinery mod which can extract trace elements from stone. You need to have the space for multiple refiners, one for each mineral type, but it works. Also of interest to you, the rebalance of critical element extraction.

Is there a version in the works for other resource types? At times, with these updates I have difficulty finding key resources, especially with this latest patch. Something like that would be really helpful there. It doesn't have to be super efficient or anything, I just don't want to get to a point where I have to go into creative mode and give myself the resources because the exploration asteroids don't seem to have a particular resource within 20,000 meters.

@Benesato Thanks for the heads up! I've placed it all by its self... I wonder though what it would do if it was hooked to a reactor; would it pull the refined Urainium and reprocess it or would the reactor pull from it as things are processed?

I was happy with the concept and still am, but this thing needs to have a warning with it. Do NOT put it on your main conveyor line! I finally decided to upgrade my survival base, moved all production units into the building, and linked my large cargo box into it. I noticed I forgot to build a cargo box for easy item access in the line, and went to find my construction components. Withen 3-5 minutes, this block pulled in 16k construction blocks, 98 platnium, 3k silver, 7k Nickle, 4k cobalt, 1k Solar Panels, and 1.7k thrusted components. Thats just what I could remember after immediatly logging out and back in to go as far back as possible.

It's great when starting a map, my 30k stone to uranium was a boost, but yea, this isn't programmed to descriminate from stone to platnium to arc components. 6 days legit survival work got knocked back majorly, so build it seperate from ALL units.

@ Trion3: Hi glad you like it :). I was actually looking for a way so i can make a GUI menu option with a dropdown to select what output type so its like a full matter converter but as far as i know you cannot do that with current restrictions.

@SpiritOfDeath: The way it is set up for this first version it outputs uranium ingots to the factor of 0.007 for each 1 item inputted. This is the same value used by the vanilla refinery for 1 uranium ore into uranium ingots.

I have considered basing the uranium ingot output on the input objects mass, just havent got round to it yet :).

now if i throw in 1k rock will i get 1k uranium? and the same if i throw in 1k gold or a clip of ammo?
