Likewise I have not seen anyone who has uploaded this for sfm, I have only seen it in gmod
Aside from features and looks, there really isn't all that much different.
The model uses it's own location for materials and models, meaning that it cannot be overridden by other Scout models, so you don't have to worry about editing material properties of another Scout model you don't want to edit.
Next one will be Engineer.
Depends on the user. I would ideally want to use them over anything but I simply can't.

That render looks great. I agree that leaving some important shapes how they were would be a nice balance.
I will make sure to include the original body groups so you can change between the improved version or the original version. That would be a good idea, so I will change it in the near future.
