Updated to support RimWorld version 1.6! Thanks for the reminders.

Since I don't own either Anomaly or Odyssey DLCs (happy to accept a gift if someone is willing and able) I can't confirm if the icons work exactly the way they should, so I'd appreciate it if someone could share their feedback! But from the research I've done, they should be working as intended.

@Mlie: You legend, as always! I'll get to updating all my mods soon!

1.6 update planned?

It is still working on 1.6, no issues I noticed.

Throw a 1.6 tag on here

Would it be possible to add an icon for Anomaly? The regular Architect Icons one is only 16x16 and thus looks very bad when used with Category Manager

need more

@Amroth: That's really cool, thanks for sharing!

(You can also create new categories with it on the fly. If you use the drag-sorting mod, you can create and hide/delete any number of categories for yourself without other mods)

No, it's actually built as a modular alternative to tab-sorting.

Allows you to customize the architect tab completely, including swapping category icons and changing button dimensions and all. Absolutely brilliant mod haha.

I'm actually talking to the author right now. He's cooking up some great features to help make things way more convenient (like filtering icons by name, or mod). So I definitely recommend it.

You could put it in the description for people who want to mix and match category icons from different mods to their taste :)

@Amroth: Nice find! :D Never heard of that mod before; is it similar to Tab-sorting? That's my preferred go to for getting a perfect set-up and what I recommend that pairs perfectly with this mod. Regarding the conflict; I assume it isn't something the author can fix on their end?

I narrowed the problem down to the "Category Manager". It causes these category icon mods to be added as options, rather than automatically replacing the originals.

Reporting here in case others have the same problem. Category Manager is quite essential, but what it does is highly inconvenient, especially since you have to swim through a sea of icons to find the correct ones.
Amroth 26 Mar @ 5:43pm
Yeah, that's most likely it :( I'll try both your suggestions, thank you
Deadmano  [author] 26 Mar @ 5:36pm
@Amroth: Almost always certainly a mod conflict. Make sure Rimano is loaded as far down your mod list as possible, and of course after Architect Icons. You can confirm it is a mod conflict by disabling all mods save for this mod and Architect Icons and then starting a new game briefly.

My base game architect icons remain their original blurry selves :/ I can't for the life of me figure out why.

For some reason the optional icons mod isn't changing anything either, but mods that add new tabs do have fresh HD icons. Any ideas that might help?

@Johnny: I appreciate that, thank you! I'll see what I can do when I get a free moment.

These are without a doubt the best lookin Architect Icons, wish there were icons for Vehicles and Rimfeller

@ferny: Good point, I've made the change! It should have loaded without errors, (less the icons appearing) but it'd allow you to use it with Tab-sorting that also allows you to set icons. It was just more anyone using the collection would already have both, but that also makes perfect sense for others who may not realise/aren't using the collection. Thanks!
